Although Chris Cuomo and his employer insist that calling someone 'Fredo' is an ethnic slur on a par with the n-word, even Vox takes exception to such a comparison. On Tuesday, Vox culture staff writer Alissa Wilkinson weighed in on this topic and came down very definitely on the side of no ethnic slur represented by "Fredo."
On his Tuesday night show, Daily Show host Trevor Noah took a brief break from mocking Trump and Fox News, to ridicule CNN’s Chris Cuomo over his now-viral video encounter with a man who called him, “Fredo.” Noah mercilessly mocked the CNN host for his violent overreaction and even took him to task for calling the term after a fictional character, an ethnic slur.
CNN host Chris Cuomo made an absolute fool out of himself in a viral video released Monday night where he’s seen threatening to throw a man down a flight of stairs. The man insulted Cuomo by using the Godfather-based insult “Fredo” (the dumb older brother of the main character and mob boss Michael Corleone), which the CNN host ludicrously claimed was an “ethnic slur” equivalent to using the “N-word.”
A viral video showing CNN Anchor Chris Cuomo threatening to throw a Trump supporter down the stairs has been removed from YouTube by the platform. The YouTube channel “That’s the POINT with Brandon” posted a video showing Cuomo threatening a Trump supporter.
In a YouTube video released on Monday by an “independent media journalist” with the title That’s the Point with Brandon,” CNN Prime Time host Chris Cuomo can be seen threatening to throw a reported “Trump supporter” down some stairs. The incident appeared to be designed to get a rise out of Cuomo, but the CNN host completely blew up at a minor slight.
On Wednesday's New Day show, CNN was still showing its transparent bias in favor of more restrictions on gun rights as gun control skeptic Congressman Brian Babin was pressed on his views while supporters of gun control were allow to give their prescriptions for more gun control with little challenge.
Wednesday night’s CNN show trial was just as hideously horrible as one could have predicted when it came to promoting gun control and confiscation in the wake of the El Paso and Dayton shootings (so just like the first one). At around 10:00 p.m. Eastern, Antifa supporter, judge, and jury Chris Cuomo’s dismissal (along with his panelists) of a female gun owner showed an invective toward those who don’t share their worldview. And at another point, Cuomo offered a truly insane falsehood about the 1990s assault weapons ban.
While Wednesday night’s mass shooting town hall on CNN wasn’t as raucous as their Parkland show trial, it was every bit as anti-gun. And only that opinion mattered. Host Chris Cuomo stated as much when he teased his closing argument. He even went so far as to openly mock those who opposed his belief in sweeping gun control, including weapon bans.
At the top of CNN’s anti-gun town hall, Wednesday, host and Antifa terrorist backer Chris Cuomo lashed out at the National Rifle Association for not subjecting themselves to the hate and rhetorical torture session they were treated to at the Parkland shooting town hall last year.
On Tuesday morning, CNN’s Chris Cuomo was on the ground in El Paso, Texas covering the aftermath of the Walmart shooting. While there, New Day hosted a segment with survivors of previous shootings around the country. Cuomo advocated for young people to "mark their mark" on the 2020 election.
Media Research Center President (MRC) Brent Bozell issued the following statement Tuesday about CNN’s upcoming town hall on guns: "I’m calling on all public officials to boycott CNN's disgraceful town hall in El Paso tomorrow night. It’s nothing more than a partisan political ratings stunt, and it dishonors the victims and their families. We saw how CNN’s town hall following the shooting in Parkland, Florida, last year turned into a left-wing anti-gun political rally. There are no indications this event won’t be more of the same."
The victims of the El Paso and Dayton mass shootings were set to become the next soapbox for CNN to stand on and shout at Second Amendment supporting Americans. On Monday, CNN announced they will host yet another anti-gun town hall on Wednesday to emotionally exploit grieving families. If that wasn’t slimy enough, the town hall was going to be moderated by Prime Time host and Antifa supporter Chris Cuomo.
