CBS’s Stephen Colbert and ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel kicked off their respective Wednesday shows by welcoming Black History Month while condemning alleged GOP attacks on the subject of black history.

CBS host of The Late Show Stephen Colbert was not thrilled with Rep. Jim Jordan’s weekend comments that no law or amount of training would have prevented the death of Tyre Nichols. Colbert declared that Jordan was so close to getting it, but because he doesn’t want to appear woke it leads him to wonder “what point do you stop being a witness and start being evil?”

HBO Real Time host Bill Maher continued to show self-awareness on his Friday program as he lampooned private-jet flying environmentalists from John Kerry to himself, conceding “it’s like heroin.”

If someone really wanted to get the conservative perspective on the news, one of the last places they would turn would be CNN, but that didn’t stop a Thursday CNN Tonight panel from declaring that GOP efforts to stop Critical Race Theory are not conservative.

On Wednesday, Andrea Mitchell continued her recent history of spreading fake news on her MSNBC show. This time, Mitchell rushed to the defense of Rep. Adam Schiff, claiming he isn’t a liar and that Speaker Kevin McCarthy is really the one with a problematic relationship with the truth.

As President Biden’s keep piling up, MSNBC All In guest host Ali Velshi welcomed former Biden deputy assistant and Symone host Symone Sanders-Townsend to wonder what the big deal is. For Velshi, Biden’s document scandal is the “next Benghazi” while for Sanders-Townsend, Hunter Biden is “just his son.”
