“Brazil Coup Complete,” claims the leftist Huffington Post. It reproduces a Reuters article about Brazil’s democratically elected Senate voting today to put the country’s corrupt leader on trial. But there is no coup. Rather, Brazil’s President, leftist Dilma Roussef, is being impeached for abuses of power:  

Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi instructed them to follow the lead of late night comedians (in the mold of The Daily Show or The Nightly Show) to take down Donald Trump and the Republicans to the point that she offered to “encourage” them to broadcast such exposes as the general election intensifies.

MSNBC’s Hardball host Chris Matthews has offered NewsBusters readers perhaps the largest library of ridiculous statements over the years but his segment topics took a bizarre turn on Wednesday when he devoted an entire block to Hillary Clinton’s interest in releasing documents pertaining to Area 51 and the chances that aliens exist inside the U.S.

In an analysis for the front page of Wednesday’s New York Times business section, Eduardo Porter trumpeted that the real issue ailing the American economy and impeding on its improvement is the lack of mass government jobs programs similar to its “large and underappreciated role in reshaping” the country during the 19th and 20th centuries.
