In a screed for the latest issue of The New Yorker, CNN Senior Legal Analyst Jeffrey Toobin warned the United States was doomed by prospect of President Trump naming another conservative justice to the Supreme Court. The cable news pundit feared that a “brazen conservative majority” would impact the country “in chilling new ways.”

On Tuesday, MSNBC hosts and correspondents displayed their religious intolerance by attacking the faith of potential Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett. During one hour after another, Barrett’s membership in a faith group was ridiculed and listed as one of her “potential weaknesses” in a Senate confirmation fight.

On Tuesday’s edition of New Day, hosts John Berman and Alisyn Camerota conducted a panel on President Trump’s list of potential candidates for retiring Justice Kennedy’s seat on the Supreme Court. During the segment, CNN political analyst Brian Karem made his animosity towards President Trump and the conservative movement quite clear. Apparently, conservatives make Karem “nauseous.”

Filling in for Craig Melvin during MSNBC’s 1:00 p.m. ET hour on Monday, anchor Chris Jansing recounted a recent exchange she had with a Democratic activist in California, who apparently became “literally physically ill” upon hearing the news that Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy was retiring and President Trump would be nominating a replacement.

On her 12:00 p.m. ET hour MSNBC show on Monday, anchor Andrea Mitchell promised viewers “a colossal political showdown” over President Trump’s replacement for retiring Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy. She demanded that Democrats refuse to take any nominee “at face value” and “drill down” on their abortion views.

Once a hero for Democrats and the left, Anthony Kennedy now is being reviled as a defective pawn of the liberal cause. On July 2, The Daily Beast published an article under the headline, “Anthony Kennedy, You Are a Total Disgrace to America.”

Late Sunday on HBO’s Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, the liberal comedian despaired, along with the rest of the media, over Justice Anthony Kennedy’s retirement from the Supreme Court. Playing advocate for the Democrats, the host spread doom and gloom predictions over the legacy of Roe v. Wade and gay marriage.

On Monday morning, as CNN regulars continued freaking out over the possibility of Roe v. Wade being overturned after a new U.S. Supreme Court justice is appointed, New Day host Alisyn Camerota and CNN commentator Charlie Dent at one point suggested hypocrisy by pro-lifers who wish to protect unborn babies while supporting the enforcement of immigration laws that lead to families being separated.

Appearing on MSNBC’s Morning Joe on Friday, CNBC founder and former NBC Cable president Tom Rogers argued that Democrats should respond to President Trump naming a replacement for Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy by expanding the size of the court and packing it with liberals if they win control of Congress and the White House in 2020.

Over the weekend, CNN Newsroom host Ana Cabrera seemed to fret over the possibility that the Roe V.
