On CNN's New Day, political analyst Chris Cillizza says Democrats are in "revolt" against a "directionless" and "listless" Joe Biden. He says that, looking ahead to the midterms, the situation at the border bodes "nothing good" for the Democrats. Cillizza concludes by saying that there is "a really bad political climate for Democrats."

On Morning Joe, cranky Joe Scarborough warns Democrats that if they don't deal with the issues of crime, and the chaos at the southern border, "then thugs like Donald Trump will. And we don't want that to happen."

Univision's immigration advocacy has reached the point to where the network's news division now promotes a swimming instructor that is training potential migrants on how to swim across the Rio Grande.

Despite charges against them being dropped, on Jonathan Capehart's MSNBC show, Maria Hinojosa of NPR accuses border agents of having "whipped" Haitians attempting to cross the southern border. And Capehart seemingly denies the notion that any immigration can be illegal, speaking of "quote unquote, illegal immigration."

After spending days beating a dead horse with their fake news coverage claiming Border Patrol agents were “whipping” Haitian migrants, the liberal broadcast networks ignored the news that the agents involved were all cleared of alleged wrongdoing. 

In a stunningly economically illiterate opinion piece in The Washington Post, columnist Catherine Rampell argues that President Joe Biden can solve rampant inflation by letting more immigrants into the United States. 

Given the busy news week, we wanted on Monday morning to recap the best and the worst from Thursday and Friday’s episodes of The Psaki Show and hone in on Fox’s Peter Doocy sparring with Press Secretary Jen Psaki over COVID cases around the President and Vice President and then free cellphones for illegal immigrants.

After spending the previous segment celebrating Senate Democrats’ successful confirmation of Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court, the NBC Meet the Press panel eventually turned to despair when they realized this might be the last legislative success of the Biden administration before the midterms (and if Republicans take control of Congress the last period).

Remind us: who is Biden's border czar? We seem to remember that it's Kamala Harris--even if, after more than a year in office, she hasn't actually made it to the border.  But there was Tiffany Cross on her MSNBC show this morning, in effect accusing Biden-Harris of a racist, "double-standard," immigration policy favoring white Ukrainians over asylum seekers from Central America and Africa.
