AMC’s new, post-apocalyptic drama, Into the Badlands, premiered last night, and gave anti-gun liberals the world they’ve been clamoring for: one where all firearms have been outlawed. Only, far from the peaceful utopia gun control advocates always promise, the world has instead devolved back into the barbaric, feudal society that dominated much of human history.

Actor/comedian Michael Ian Black wasted no time, on Friday, exploiting the Paris attack as he tweeted within an an our of the breaking news: "Awful, awful, awful news in Paris. 18 shot dead. If only we could get our daily shootings down to 18 here in America."

Conservatives revere the Bill of Rights, including the 2nd Amendment, and highly respect those who have worn the uniform of this nation. So naturally MSNBC found Veterans Day a perfect opportunity to troll by giving a pro-gun control Army veteran a platform to insist "It’s time for vets to speak up about gun safety."

Duck Dynasty's Willie Robertson slammed the calls by liberals for more gun control. Appearing on Fox News’s Outnumbered, the reality TV star insisted, “Guns are in hands of mostly good people, just like police officers are mostly good people. Yes, there are bad ones. But you can't make a sweeping take away the whole Second Amendment over this.” 

On Tuesday, CBS This Morning aired a friendly interview with co-host Gayle King and Governor Chris Christie and his wife Mary Pat. Adam Winkler, a liberal law professor writing in The Washington Post, argued that changing demographics in America will doom the National Rifle Association as the white majority shrinks and minorities grow in population. Oddly enough, however, he left out how polling data shows more and more African-Americans are becoming generally pro-gun rights and skeptical of gun control.

Liberals, hinted Waldman in a Monday American Prospect column, need to remember that the legislative journey of a thousand miles begins with a few steps.
