The beleaguered CBS Evening News is still defending the interview, even as the parties move closer to settling the $20B lawsuit.

Today’s portion of the ongoing “legacy” media meltdown over the role of Elon Musk and DOGE in the current administration centered around Musk’s participation in the Cabinet meeting. Musk drew scrutiny in a way that escaped Jill and Hunter Biden as when they attended similar meetings.

The Musk-Deranged and DOGE-Deranged media appear to have stumbled on a new genre of goverage: the horrendous fate that will befall Americans due to DOGE cuts across multiple federal agencies. Reaching a new height of absurdity, CBS’s Ian Lee leads viewers to infer that DOGE cuts will lead people to be eaten by bears.

On-air reactions to recent programming changes continue to reveal the ongoing institutional rot at MSNBC. As part of a network-wide prime time meltdown, star anchor Rachel Maddow openly blasted the programming changes that led to the cancellation of multiple programs in addition to Joy Reid’s. 

As reported yesterday, left-wing propaganda outlet MSNBC made significant changes to their programming slate. On the latest edition of NBC’s Meet the Depressed, Oklahoma Senator Markwayne Mullin shut down host Kristen Welker’s pressure over the reduction of the federal workforce. Thus continues the media’s campaign to advocate for fired government workers in a way they’ve never done for any other workers.

CBS Senior Political Correspondent Robert Costs is doing his level best to preserve the media’s hysterical denunciations of a “constitutional crisis” where there is none. This contrasts with a very recent past constitutional crisis that the media bit their collective tongues on.

The DOGE-deranged media continue to plumb new lows in their collective attempt to instill fear and pessimism in a largely optimistic American public. The latest such effort by NBC revolves around DOGE cuts at the National Park Service.

The corporate media, seemingly bent on not offending Hamas terrorists, their campus sympathizers, and Washington allies, willfully chose to downplay Hamas’s horrific swap of Shiri Bibas’s body with that of another person ahead of its scheduled handover to Israel. Rather than expose depravity, the media made the choice to downplay it with the hope that no one will notice.

When is a story about farmers NOT about farmers? When the farmers are but a narrative device with which the media can stealthily advocate for a preferred policy in peril. In this case, farmers used as human shields so NBC can advocate for the Green New Deal (under its actual name, the Inflation Reduction Act).

Dear readers, we regret to inform you that the new and by-no-means improved CBS Evening News is at it again. This time, turning an otherwise serviceable report on the disappearance of Washington’s birthday into a vessel with which to take a shot at President Donald Trump.

It is not coincidental that mere days after Vice President JD Vance went into the Munich Security Conference and denounced European censorship regimes, CBS’s 60 Minutes would air a report extolling the virtues of German censorship. The report filed by correspondent Sharyn Alfonsi makes sure to highlight prosecutors who go after memeposters as defenders of civility.

CBS’s Margaret Brennan continues on a tour-de-force of galaxy brained takes that ultimately cause her to get smacked down by her conservative interlocutor. The latest such instance involves her assertion that the Holocaust was caused by (weaponized) free speech, which was promptly and thoroughly rebuffed by Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
