Along with panelists on Monday morning’s CNN Newsroom ripping President Trump’s speech and displaying a visceral hatred for non-liberals, these CNN personalities bolstered their takes on this weekend’s mass shootings by showcasing a nearly 14-minute-long beatdown of political commentator David Urban, who was the lone conservative panelist.

Appearing on NBC’s Meet the Press on Sunday following a completely off-the-rails panel discussion in which liberal pundits blamed President Trump for the mass shooting in El Paso, White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney blasted moderator Chuck Todd for allowing such vile politization of the tragedy on the broadcast.

On August 4th, two horrific shootings in El Paso, Texas and Dayton, Ohio shocked the nation. Americans from coast to coast were nonplused that such atrocious acts could be committed by their compatriots, and unfortunately, many are already using these events as political clubs to beat the drum for gun control. They scapegoat guns as the root issue, ignoring the possible cultural influences. 

On Monday morning, CNN Newsroom made sure everyone recognized its hatred for President Donald Trump, his supporters, the Second Amendment, and anyone looking to unify the country in the wake of the Dayton and El Paso mass shootings. If you weren’t on board with those terms or approved of the President’s Monday morning speech, there was no place for you aboard Team Jeffrey Zucker.

During coverage of the horrific mass shootings that happened over the weekend, on Monday, NBC’s Today show eagerly touted Democrats rushing to blame President Trump’s rhetoric for the attack in El Paso, Texas. Several quotes from 2020 Democratic presidential candidates claiming the President “bears some responsibility” for the killings were featured in the report.

There was more shoddy journalism form CNN talking head Jake Tapper during Sunday’s State of the Union as he repeatedly set up his Democratic guests to cast blame on President Trump for two mass shootings on Saturday. He also insinuated the President was a “racist” and “white nationalist” in the exact same vein as the shooter in El Paso, Texas.

Always out to make the Republicans look bad, on Thursday night’s All In, MSNBC host Chris Hayes decided to smear the entirety of the Republican Party since the Reagan era as racists. Instead of reporting on the possibly politically motivated attack in their own back yards, the evening newscasts of ABC, CBS, and NBC were too busy suggesting Trump supporters at a rally in Cincinnati, Ohio that night were going to chant racist slogans.

Considering how much bashing MSNBC has done of the CNN Democratic presidential debates and the moderators (Dana Bash, Don Lemon, and Jake Tapper), it was no surprise when the late-night portion of their coverage (12:30 a.m.-2:00 a.m. Eastern Thursday) repeatedly bashed CNN for having and insufficiently covered issues like education and impeachment and created too much conflict.

Unlike their late-night analysis after Tuesday’s debate, MSNBC had their acts together on Wednesday night, putting together in many of their initial takes a near-unanimous message that former Vice President Joe Biden was on the defensive and that it was an abomination how many of the Democratic presidential candidates condemned the Obama administration.
