Democrats recently released plans to fight “Online Misinformation” that featured a blueprint for online censorship. Congressional Democrats, however, have sponsored or co-sponsored at least 18 Big Tech bills with Republicans. That combination raises huge questions about their actual goals and could undermine bipartisan support.

Monday morning prior to the start of Senate confirmation hearings for Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson, ABC, CBS, and NBC shoveled White House talking points that reveled over Jackson’s “historic nomination” and the “legal and political gauntlet” ahead and fretted Republicans are ready to “attack” with “fireworks” that could trigger “a political bounce” for President Biden.

In his State of the Union address, President Biden claimed he would, be “the only president to ever cut the deficit by more than $1 trillion in a single year.” While this is technically true, he ignores the fact that the reduction in the deficit will be due to the decreased expenditures associated with COVID-19 relief.

Notable conservatives tore into Facebook after a report from WIRED emerged that alleged the platform has allowed child exploitation groups to flourish. “While Facebook is busy cracking down on conservative opinions they disagree with, child exploitation persists on its platforms,” Rep. A new bill introduced by Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) could drive censorship online. Klobuchar said the NUDGE Act would help address so-called “misinformation.”
