On Tuesday's PBS NewsHour, the show gave a forum to former Barack Obama administration official Todd Stern of the Brookings Institution to complain about President Donald Trump's decision to pull out of the Paris Accord on climate change. Stern called the decision "crazy" and suggested the country needs a "new President," all without any balance offered by fill-in host William Brangham.

Two tech companies have allegedly declined to testify at a hearing held by Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) about their dealings on China. The hearing, held by the Senate Subcommittee on Crime and Terrorism, will focus on “How Corporations and Big Tech Leave Our Data Exposed to Criminals, China, and Other Bad Actors.”

In case you were wondering, The Washington Post is still publishing Communist Chinese propaganda. The paper on Wednesday featured a supplemental section entitled ChinaWatch by the publicity department of the country’s repressive regime, China Daily. The brutal crackdown on Hong Kong apparently hasn’t caused the Post to reconsider this advertising arrangement. 

The China/NBA debacle rolls on, this time involving a verbal spat between Vice President Mike Pence and NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley. The “Round Mound of Rebound” is touchy over criticism that his former league won’t risk money to call out the human rights abuses of the Chinese communist government, becoming instead the “Round Mound of ‘Shut the Hell Up.’”

Following in the footsteps of cowardly NBA hypocrites who blast Trump/conservatives but never China with its large number of human rights abuses, Disney CEO Bob Iger has decided to keep his mouth shut about the communist state because not doing so would pose a threat to his Mickey Mouse cash.

Quentin Tarantino is having a bad week. It remains to be seen if his week is as bad as Lebron James’s was last week, but the cause is the same: the bullying communist Chinese government. TikTok, the viral Chinese app that may live on your high school student’s phone, serves another devious purpose. It is a propaganda tool for the Chinese government. Australian human rights activist and Uyghur Muslim Arslan Hidayat tweeted a video taken from TikTok which was allegedly posted to an official Chinese police account in the Zhangwan District, Shiyan City, Hubei Province.

A few days ago, when Lebron James whined about his team and his league’s “difficult week,” he wasn’t just flipping off Muslim Uighurs and Hong Kong freedom protesters suffering in China. He was throwing Chinese Christians under the bus too.

Facebook and its developers have been in the race to define and correct what the platform calls hate speech. But in a speech given to Georgetown University, CEO Mark Zuckerberg suggested a different direction for the company.

Apple has no problem being woke, except when it might cost the company billions of dollars. Apple removed an app, called HKmap.live, from the app store after it received criticism from the Chinese government.
