Twitter and Facebook have permanently banned President Trump from their social platforms. Former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn and attorney Sidney Powell have also been permanently banned as Twitter announced a purge of “accounts dedicated to sharing content related to the far-right QAnon conspiracy theory.”

The left is trying hard to shut down free speech-oriented social media platforms like Parler and Rumble. Now, these companies are fighting back. Parler and Rumble have filed suit against Amazon and Google respectively, in an apparent effort to fight Big Tech censorship.

Big Tech still isn’t done cracking down on conservatives. Facebook, Instagram and even Peloton, have decided to remove “Stop the Steal” content from their platforms.

Media Research Center (MRC) President Brent Bozell and more than 30 conservative leaders issued a statement Monday calling for the breakup of Big Tech companies including Amazon, Google, Facebook and Apple after their sweeping acts of censorship against conservatives and President Donald Trump this past week.

Forbes magazine abandoned any illusion of its free-market stance by issuing a threat to any company that chooses to hire some individuals who worked for President Donald Trump.

Despite the fact that Twitter, Facebook, Snapchat, Reddit, TikTok and even Shopify have all censored President Donald Trump, that still isn’t enough for some in the media. At least one media member in particular, CNN reporter Donie O’Sullivan suggested YouTube also bears some culpability and that it should have censored more prior to the election. 

Although Twitter's recent over the top  censorship  culminating in permanently banning President Donald Trump from that platform has been generally hailed by much of the mainstream media, there is one notable voice of dissent.  John Harris, the founding editor of Politico, usually very liberal and definitely no friend of Trump, is disturbed by Twitter's political purge.

At least 120 leftists on Twitter have called for Trump to be permanently removed from the platform following the Jan. 6 unrest at the U.S. Capitol Building. The list includes figures in media, Big Tech and leftist nonprofits.
 

Rule of thumb: Always be skeptical of a company that tries to act woke, especially when CNN blowhard Brian Stelter is pushing it.

Big Tech has been on a rampage against what it considers to be misinformation about COVID-19. But a trusted source like a medical journal should be safe, right? Wrong. Twitter has flagged the link to a study from the European Journal of Medical and Health Sciences as “potentially spammy or unsafe.”
