On Monday, it was reported that inaugural Women’s March co-chairs Bob Bland, Tamika Mallory and Linda Sarsour were being replaced with 16 new board members. The Washington Post had the scoop, and its headline announcing “Women’s March cutting ties with three original board members accused of anti-Semitism” made it sound like the radical left-wing group was finally taking a stand against anti-Semitism within its leadership, but that couldn’t be further from the truth.
Don’t you love when lefties slam Christians as hokey fanatics, but cling to their progressive pieties with as much reverence and zeal. Comedian and usually anti-Christian comedian Sarah Silverman tried to show social media users that she too understands the Christian perspective so long as it relates to climate change.
Here’s a pattern that’s feeling familiar: AMC’s Preacher hating God and all aspects of religion. Unfortunately for us, each episode tends to be worse than the last to keep things edgy, and the latest episode is no exception. Here, we see God taking a direct and bloody action towards destroying His creation.
It's a fallacy to suggest that in the news media, business trumps politics. CNN and MSNBC’s dismal ratings are in direct proportion to their deliberate decision to embrace far-left anti-Trumpism. The same holds true for Hollywood, except in their case it’s not just anti-Trumpism that excites. The hatred is deeper. They are committed to levels of anti-Christian bigotry never before seen in their industry. There’s no discernible market demand for this bigotry, but it’s the mindset of the industry that believes Christianity must be insulted at every opportunity.
Charmed actress, abortion activist and hysterical Kavanaugh slanderer Alyssa is probably proud that she is the sole savior of bipartisan civility because she made a gun control meeting happen between her and Senator Ted Cruz. Too bad though that this remarkable civility owes in part to her deplorable hatred for the Second Amendment and the conservative politicians who defend it.
Hulu’s horror anthology series Into the Dark finally completed its twelve month, twelve episode season with its September 6 episode “Pure.” Each episode ordinarily revolves around a holiday or notable day in the month it airs, so why did the show pick the obscure “Daughters’ Day” over the much more obvious Labor Day for September? Apparently, it’s so the series can force its feminist, anti-Christian message.
Praise the Lord, HBO’s The Deuce is finally airing its third and final season. Although the network still has a sick obsession with sex and nudity, we can at least close the book on this awful series pretty soon. Until then, we have to contend with more sex, drugs, and porn films even within this season premiere. As a bonus, they even throw in a little blasphemy.
The AMC series Preacher is finally drawing to a close with only a handful of episodes left to go. Sadly, they still won't lay off on mocking God, Jesus, or religion. This time, the show insults all three along with the people who believe in God. It’s a busy hour.
Recently, the University of Vermont Medical Center was accused of forcing a nurse to assist with an abortion against her will, a violation of federal conscience rights laws. According to Vice, the fact that a pro-life nurse objected to performing an abortion “shows we need to be more discerning about who is worthy of serving the public.” So much for the right to choose.
Thursday on The View, the liberal co-hosts gushed over 2020 candidate South Bend, Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigeg attacking Christians about the climate, during his CNN town hall late Wednesday. The same View hosts who hate God being brought into the topic of abortion, loved that Democrats were bringing God into climate change.
The leftist video site Raw Story attacked Vice President Mike Pence on Wednesday with a story headlined "Pence hypes false conspiracy theory that Obama ordered Christianity out of VA hospitals." Fact check: Pence didn't say "Obama ordered" a crackdown on Christian materials. But in the Obama years, Bibles were removed from VA centers and religious Christmas carols were banned at an Augusta, Georgia hospital.
Although making God a villain was already a low point, the final season of AMC’s Preacher branches out to ruin another member of the Holy Trinity with Jesus Christ. How many people think it’s fun to watch Jesus smoking dope and shooting people? By the looks of this episode, far too many. It’s moments like these that make me thankful that Preacher is finally coming to an end soon.
