As NewsBusters reported, CNN and NBC are planning programs about Hillary Clinton in the coming months. On Monday, Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus sent letters to both organizations informing them that if they don't cancel these shows, he will recommend the RNC not participate in any primaries sponsored by their networks:

NewsBusters frequently reports Hollywood's finest supporting liberal politicians and causes. Yet a new study by the Center for Responsive Politics published by The Wrap Sunday found that the top political donors in showbiz so far this year are Florida music producer Bill Edwards and his wife Joanne who gave $164,800 to - hold on to your seats - Republicans.

George Will had some harsh words on Sunday for Governor Chris Christie’s (R –N.J.) condemnation of Libertarianism this week. Appearing on ABC’s This Week, Will said, “If Mr. Christie thinks that's a dangerous thought, a number of people are going to say Mr. Christie himself may be dangerous” (video follows with transcript and absolutely no need for additional commentary):

Bill Maher is very unhappy that rich conservatives are having an impact on politics. With this in mind, HBO’s Real Time host on Friday encouraged "rich liberals" such as guest Jay Z, Oprah Winfrey, and Steven Spielberg to "get in the game," “pony up” and “buy a state” (video follows with transcript and commentary):

Former Congressman Barney Frank (D-Ma.) took a shot at Governor Chris Christie (R-N.J.) Friday. Appearing on HBO’s Real Time, Frank said, “I have a little bit of a soft spot for Christie because I have an interest in rude fat guys doing well in politics.”

MSNBC contributors Jonathan Alter and Joy Reid sound much like a good metronome: their commentary never changes, marching on at an endless, fixed pace.
