The Washington Post found another 2016 contender to bash. Reporter David Fahrenthold on Sunday devoted 2,491 words to a supposedly straight news story on the "lost," "infamous" Bobby Jindal. According to the aggressively negative piece, the Louisiana governor's presidential hopes are "stalled" and the "onetime GOP star is at rick of becoming an afterthought." 

On Tuesday, only ABC's Good Morning America reported a new CNN poll showing a decline in Hillary Clinton's popularity following the e-mail scandal, with a majority of Americans viewing the controversy as a "serious problem" for the 2016 Democratic contender. Neither NBC's Today nor CBS This Morning mentioned the poll results.

In a contrast of how two network late night comedy hosts addressed the Hillary Clinton email scandal on Monday, CBS’s David Letterman whined about the attention and effort being devoted and given to the scandal while NBC’s Jimmy Fallon took to mocking Clinton’s long-winded, confusing responses during her press conference as to why she used just one account and one phone.

Susan Estrich is a bigtime Hillary Clinton supporter. Therefore it was no surprise that in her March 6 column she wrote off the Hillary e-mail scandal as mere silliness.
