Politics in DC these days are so absurd that there can only be one explanation: brain-eating alien bugs. CBS’ new show BrainDead, premiering June 13th, is a political satire that blames unpopular Congressional actions on ant-like aliens infecting the minds of politicians. One of the show's stars bashed Ted Cruz as a way of defending its realism.

It also has heart. During Fox & Friends Thursday, co-host Ainsley Earhardt turned to the viral story of a mother who penned a “powerful message” to the doctor that suggested she abort her baby with Down syndrome. Earhardt invited the mother, Courtney Baker, on the show with her now 15-month-old daughter Emersyn (Emmy).

To combat the “media’s” unrealistic body images, BuzzFeed put on “Body Positivity Week” this past May. Capping off the plethora of articles about body shaming, BuzzFeed took photos of four “ordinary” guys (a comedy group, The Try Guys) imitating the poses of well-sculpted celebrities. Unfortunately, one media outlet – BuzzFeed – failed to get the message.

On Tuesday’s edition of First Take on ESPN2, Smith took strong exception with Brock Osweiler, the former Bronco, and current Houston Texans quarterback. Osweiler opted to not attend the Broncos visit to the White House on Monday, and instead spent the time at OTA’s with his new team.
