Entertainment Weekly reports that TBS Full Frontal “comedian” Samantha Bee unleashed her feminist rage at MSNBC host Joe Scarborough because he tweeted like some kind of thug that Hillary should smile after her primary wins on Tuesday. The magazine reported “some Twitter users pointed out that telling a woman to smile is a common refrain heard from street harassers.”
“Smile,” he wrote on Twitter. “You just had a big night. #PrimaryDay.” On her Full Frontal page on Twitter, Bee responded by posting a picture of her scowling face. “Ladies, it’s very important that you #SmileForJoe,” she sneered:

Scarborough, perhaps with some urging from co-host Mika Brzezinski, defensively responded in a series of tweets. “We’ve hammered all candidates on their style and substance. We try to hold all candidates to the same standard,” he said. “I don’t look at [Clinton] as a woman anymore than I did Thatcher. I look at her as a tough candidate who can handle it.”
He even slashed at cowardly dudes. “And btw, we've been tough on HRC and she's still come on – unlike a lot of men who are scared of their own shadow.” And: “I've also made no secret of the fact I like HRC personally and respect her toughness. She's dealt with a helluva lot more than a tweet.”
He complained at Bee: “We've called @BernieSanders grumpy for a year. @HillaryClinton is tough as hell. She doesn't need this fake outrage.”
