CBS: Saddam "Once Again Is In Control In the Courtroom"

MRC analyst Michael Rule reports CBS presented the Saddam Hussein trial on "The Early Show" as a spectacle pretty much controlled by the old dictator:

Co-host Harry Smith: "Kim from what you can tell and where you are in Baghdad/>/>, are people paying attention to this, is this important to the Iraqi people?"

Kimberly Dozier: "Well some of the people that our teams have spoken to have expressed frustration, they thought this would take a lot less time, now it looks like this could stretch on well into next year, and one of the top Iraqi officials we spoke to said even if Saddam Hussein is found guilty this time around and sentenced to death, it could take several months of procedural delays before anyone sees justice served."

Harry Smith: "And it looks pretty clear from the video we've been watching this morning, that Saddam once again is in control in the court room."

Kimberly Dozier: "He's very defiant. He was about 5 minutes late, made the judge and everybody else wait, and as he walked in he also bawled the judge out for having him shackled and said he should have a talk with the foreign guards who are in control of him, calling them invaders."

Harry Smith: "Kimberly Dozier, live in Baghdad/>/> this morning. Thank you so much."
