Perez Hilton Suffers Hilarious Election Night Mental Meltdown

November 9th, 2016 6:06 PM

Donald Trump is going to be elected the next president of the United States. And you know what? I'M GOING TO BE OKAY!!! But I don't know if you are. AGGGHHH!!!! AGGGHHH!!!  AGGGHHH!!!! AGGGHHH!!! ...I'm going to be okay, DAMMIT!!!

That's a brief encapsulation capturing the general tone of celebrity gossip blogger Perez Hilton's mental meltdown last night when it became obvious to him that Donald Trump would be elected president. I am sure there will be other mental meltdowns over this election but this one should definitely be placed in the top 10 of this category as you can see in the following video. A very strong language warning before you view it. The transcript excerpts of some of his rants will mercifully edit out his many profanities. Oh, and if you can handle the profanities, it is the perfect unintentional comedy video to entertain your friends with on your cellphone if you attend Trump victory parties.

Hello world. It is election night in America. And I'm watching the returns come in. It's pretty late. And it looks all but certain that Donald Trump is going to be the next president of the United States of America. And you know what? okay. I'm going to be okay. But I don't know that you are. And I especially don't know if all the poor, uneducated, angry people that voted for Donald Trump...I don't know if they are going to be okay.

...Economists warned us that this would have catastrophic results. I'm going to be okay. I don't know about you.

...If you consume enough Fox News. If you read enough Breitbart. If you are that then you start to believe that and people start saying "Killary" and it's just insane. Donald Trump is so ill-equipped to be president and now he's our president. And now there is a Republican controlled Senate and House. They're going to be passing through EVERYTHING!!!

...My right to marry is not certain anymore. The woman's right to choose is no longer GUARANTEEEED!!! This is worse than Brexit!

Hilton's loony tunes rant goes on and on for over 9 minutes. Just reading the text does not do it justice. It must be viewed and heard (if you can abide the extreme vulgarity) to appreciate his very special over the top hysterical tone that gives it the comedy flavor.

It is inevitable that there will be many other celebrity rants over Trump's election but it will be hard to top Perez Hilton in the hilarity department. However, I am expecting great things from documentary filmmaker Ken Burns.
