Martin Bashir Accuses Paul Ryan of Being a 'Compulsive Liar'

In the past couple of weeks, a new media strategy has emerged to assist Barack Obama in his quest for reelection: say that every claim by Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan are lies.

MSNBC's Martin Bashir did his part Tuesday by actually calling the Republican vice presidential nominee "a compulsive liar" (video follows with transcribed highlights and commentary):

After introducing colleague Lawrence O’Donnell, Bashir asked, “Has Paul Ryan in your experience always been a compulsive liar, or have we only just started to notice his loose grip on the truth?”

For those that have forgotten, MSNBC bills itself as a news organization.

Can you imagine Bashir or anyone else on this farce of a network ever making a similar accusation about a Democratic candidate for president or vice president?

Is any of this ever going to register with the folks at Comcast, General Electric, and NBC, or are they complicit in one of their so-called "news channels" flat out being an arm of the Democratic National Committee?
