Alec Baldwin Goes Nuts on Twitter After Davis Execution: Attacks Cheney, Rumsfeld and Michelle Malkin

Like many Americans, actor Alec Baldwin took to his Twitter account Wednesday evening to express his feelings about the execution of Georgia cop killer Troy Davis.

Rather strangely, the objects of his derision included former Vice President Dick Cheney, former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld, and conservative author Michelle Malkin:

What Cheney, Rumsfeld, and Malkin have to do with Davis or his execution is anyone's guess.

More importantly, judging from the response on Twitter, Malkin has been deluged with tremendously vile attacks since Baldwin set his minions on her.

Here are some examples that Malkin retweeted to her followers for posterity:

Nice.

In fairness, Malkin did mildly taunt Baldwin first with "Waiting for Hollyweirdo @alecbaldwin 's 'I am Troy Davis' tweet," but that hardly warranted the actor's unhinged response or those of his deranged fans.

How fitting that this kind, open-minded, thoughtful man will be hosting the season premiere of NBC's "Saturday Night Live" this weekend.
