ABC News’s joyless Joy Behar was on a roll Tuesday. Aside from claiming The View wasn’t a group you wanted to pick a fight with (despite them being too cowardly to invite conservatives on the show), the nagging crone suggested that Jesus Christ would be “narcissistic” if he had acknowledged he was the Messiah. She flaunted her profound ignorance because even after she was told that Jesus in fact did say he was the Messiah, she insisted that even the Messiah would be “narcissistic” for saying such.
The conversation was sparked by President Trump’s now-deleted Truth Social post where many argued that he was portrayed like Jesus. In an attempt to argue how un-Christ-like Trump was, Behar falsely claimed Jesus never acknowledged that he was the messiah:
BEHAR: Yeah, but Jesus himself did not run around saying, “I'm the messiah. I'm the messiah.”
FARAH GRIFFIN: Uh, Jesus did kind of say ‘I am the messiah.’
[Crosstalk]
SARA HAINES: That’s exactly what Jesus said, ‘I am the messiah.’
[Laughter]
BEHAR: No, he did not. Jesus was more modest than that. Listen, I knew Jesus.
Behar claims Jesus never said he was the messiah.

She gests schooled by the rest of the panel. "That's exactly what Jesus said!" Haines said.

Of course, that was not true. In John 4, Jesus was speaking with a Samarian woman at a well and told her he was the Messiah:
25 The woman said, “I know that Messiah” (called Christ) “is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us.”
26 Then Jesus declared, “I, the one speaking to you—I am he.”
In Mark 14, when Jesus was brought before the high priest before he was to be crucified, he acknowledged who he was:
61 Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?”
62 “I am,” said Jesus. “And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.”
That’s only a couple of the times he said he was the Messiah.
Despite the facts and co-host Sara Haines explaining it to her, Behar would go to claim that anyone, including the Messiah would be “narcissistic” for saying they’re the Messiah:
BEHAR: Jesus was not narcissistic like this guy.
HAINES: But when you are the messiah, it's not narcissism to say it!
BEHAR: Yes, it is!
HAINES: When you are the messiah?
BEHAR: Yes.
This wasn't the first time Behar had taken issue with Jesus. Back in 2018, Behar declared that hearing Jesus when you pray was a "mental illness," which the Media Research Center successfully got her to apologize for.
Additionally, Behar’s unrivaled intelligence was on full display earlier in the Tuesday show when she proclaimed the Trump post was a distraction from First Lady Melania Trump, who was distraction from the Iran war, which was a distraction from the Epstein files:
He's a master of distraction. And Melania had a faux pas last week when she came out and started talking about the Epstein files. It's like, you know, first he has to cover the Epstein files by having a war with Iran, then the Epstein files have to cover the Iran war, and now this has to cover all of that.
In addition to the Pope, Dolly Paton, and the Dalai Lama, Behar puts The View on the list of people you "shouldn't pick a fight with." pic.twitter.com/DjnCEwCavG

Behar also immodestly put The View on a pedestal and suggested they were above reproach and a group you shouldn’t pick a fight with:
FARAH GRIFFIN: There are like a few of the people on the planet that you shouldn't pick a fight with; I’d say like the pope, Polly Parton, like maybe the Dalai Lama. Like, there are a few people that are so beloved.
HOSTIN: Yeah. The Dalai Lama.
BEHAR: I would add one more. The View.

ALYSSA FARAH GRIFFIN: There are like a few of the people on the planet that you shouldn't pick a fight with; I’d say like the pope, Polly Parton, like maybe the Dalai Lama. Like, there are a few people that are so beloved.
SUNNY HOSTIN: Yeah. The Dalai Lama.
JOY BEHAR: I would add one more. The View.
[Laughter and applause]
FARA GRIFFIN: Thank you.
I realize this isn't really the focus of the issue with this tweet, which was ultimately taken down and he very rarely takes tweets down. What stood out to me is when he was posting it. So, he posted a series of tweets between 12:43 a.m., 2:35 a.m., 2:38 a.m., and 4:10 in the morning. I have a newborn with better, like, sleep habits than that, swaddle this man, get him a bottle. What is going on?!
SUNNY HOSTIN: Shouldn't he be sleeping?!
FARAH GRIFFIN: Correct. But there’ something to like, your judgment is not at its finest in the middle of the night.

BEHAR: No, he did not. Jesus was more modest than that. Listen, I knew Jesus.

HOSTIN: She just said I knew Jesus.
