Rush Limbaugh Recommends Bozell and Graham’s ‘Essential’ Book ‘Collusion’

On his radio show yesterday, Rush Limbaugh heaped high praise on Brent Bozell and Tim Graham's new book Collusion calling it "essential" and pointing out how the book is more than just "somebody's opinion."

Limbaugh also pointed out the very important truth that even though journalists receive low trust ratings in polls of the general public, the information they report is still believed, something many conservatives who see the reality of media bias often forget.

The full transcript of Limbaugh's remarks follows. We've also copied the very flattering image he put on his website below:

RUSH LIMBAUGH: Ladies and Gentleman, I meant to spend more time on this today but I didn’t want to cloud it with all of the attention focused on Trayvon Martin, but we’ve been recommending books lately. There is an absolutely wonderful book; it’s essential. It’s by my old buddy Brent Bozell from the Media Research Center. They do the absolute best job of anybody documenting—and they’ve done it for decades—the left-wing main-stream media. The title of the new book is Collusion: How the Media Stole the 2012 Election and How to Stop Them From Doing It In 2016. But this is one of these books that is not just filled with somebody’s opinion.

This book contains what the Media Research Center does that nobody else does, and that is, document, sound bite by sound bite, story by story, clip by clip, every claim that they’re making. They prove it—absolute undeniable proof of every claim that they make—how the media stole the 2012 election.

This is a book that you need to read. You probably think you understand it, and most of you probably do. This is the kind of book that you give to a liberal, and you cajole them into reading it. This is the kind of book that you give to people who need to understand how they are being lied to, how they are being misinformed by an institution that they might trust.

I don’t care if the polling data says journalists are lower on the totem poll of respect than anybody; they still are believed. They have subtle techniques of creating mass assumptions. This book Collusion, it’s about the 2012 election and how the media stole it and how they promulgated it, but in it there are lessons for how the media operates each and every day. Brent Bozell, Collusion.

That latter point is particularly important. People may not have confidence in the media generally but because they rely on journalists to convey to them information about events and people about which they cannot directly obtain knowledge, the left's overwhelming dominance of the media has an enormous impact on public opinion.
