MSNBC's Brzezinski: It Would Be 'Sad' If Biden Stops Hugging, Kissing Me

Others might be grossed out by Joe Biden's unwanted touching. But Mika Brzezinski has made it crystal clear that she wants to continue getting affection from good old Uncle Joe.

For the second day running on Morning Joe, Mika came to Biden's defense over accusations of unwanted physical contact with women. Yesterday, Mika suggested that Lucy Flores had misconstrued Biden's actions, and that he only wanted to be "kind."

Brzezinski took things a step further on today's show. She repeatedly said that the accusations against Biden are "ridiculous." She then suggested it would be "sad" if the next time they met, Biden didn't hug and kiss her and hold her hand.

 

 

Mika warned "woke" Democrats and others on the left who are going after Biden that they are "eating your young; you're eating those who can beat Trump." (Young? Joe Biden is 76.) 

Message received, Mika: leave Young Joe Biden alone!

JOE SCARBOROUGH: I think Karen Tumulty makes a really good point [in this Washington Post column] when she says Joe needs to knock [sic, presumably "cut"] it out if he does campaign. New day. New campaign trail. New reality.

MIKA BRZEZINSKI: Well, I think that's sad.

SCARBOROUGH: What's that?

BRZEZINSKI: I think that's sad. I think the next time I see Joe Biden, if he doesn't hug me and give me a kiss and hold my hand while we're talking to you, that's a new Joe Biden and that's not the Joe Biden I knew. He's a nice guy. He's not a predator, and this is ridiculous. Let me just say it: this is ridiculous. It's completely -- the whole thing -- the conversation has gotten out of control. And Democrats and those on the left who want to tweet me today and go nuts, and get all woke: you're eating your young, you're eating those who can beat Trump, you're killing the very people who have been pushing women ahead, who have been fighting for equal pay, who have been doing everything they can to respect women in their lives. And we're going to go after Joe Biden for being affectionate to women of all ages, to men as well. This is ridiculous. It's ridiculous. I don't understand it.
