Liberal ‘Republican’ Ana Navarro Joins 'View' as Friday Co-Host

CNN analyst and anti-Trump “Republican” Ana Navarro is joining the cast of ABC’s The View, she announced on Friday’s show. Navarro has frequently filled in for co-host Whoopi Goldberg on Fridays, and now has made the move permanently, for the remainder of the season.

With Navarro now a regular co-host at the table on Fridays, the rage against President Trump expressed by Joy Behar is sure to be matched or exceeded. Navarro’s primary role at CNN for the past 2 years has been to throw hissy fits and yell at conservative guests about anything Trump says or does. But it's not just Trump. Navarro’s liberal rants on just about everything, from MS-13, to Fox News, had even fellow co-host Meghan McCain wondering why she still called herself a Republican, when she guest hosted back in January.

While right-leaning co-host Meghan McCain has been an imperfect ambassador for conservatives at the table, the View has not done anything to make the table more balanced with recent host departures. After left-leaning “moderate” co-host Sara Haines left this season, they replaced her with another “moderate” Abby Huntsman, who has largely sided with the liberals at the table, rarely offering anything of substance to the discussions. With the addition of Navarro however, the discussions are sure to be even more hysterically anti-Trump on Fridays.
