CBS & NBC Ignore Creepy Porn Lawyer Michael Avenatti Sentenced to 14 Years in Prison

December 5th, 2022 8:50 PM

Former porn star lawyer Michael Avenatti, better known as the Creepy Porn Lawyer, and one-time media favorite for the 2020 Democratic nomination for president was sentenced to 14 years in prison for wire and fraud charges after previously pleading guilty in June. This sentence will be served after he's finished with his current four-year prison term for defrauding his former client Stormy Daniels. Despite once being the leftist media's favorite guest, and even having him appear on their airwaves an absurd 254 times in a single year, Monday's news that Avenatti was given a lengthy prison term was notably missing from CBS & NBC's evening newscast coverage. With only ABC's World News Tonight giving time to Avenatti's sentencing.

Instead of reporting on the Creepy Porn Lawyer's sentence, CBS Evening News was too busy wasting airtime on the new Netflix series from British Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Meanwhile, NBC Nightly News wasted their viewers' time airing a segment on how volunteering with other people could cure loneliness.

Despite previously ignoring the Creepy Porn Lawyer's original sentence, ABC's World News Tonight aired a brief 23-second news brief:

Anchor David Muir even referred to him as "disgraced lawyer Michael Avenatti" which is usually the moniker used to describe Republicans who are convicted of serious crimes or involved in career-ending scandals.

"He's now been sentenced to 14 years in prison on federal crimes. In June, he pleaded guilty to defrauding his clients and to obstructing IRS efforts to collect payroll taxes from his coffee business," Muir reported before adding: "he will serve that time after he finishes serving five years in New York for stealing from adult film star Stormy Daniels and for extorting Nike."

The bias by omission from CBS & NBC was made possible by Fidelity and Salonpas. Their information is linked.
