SAVE America Act: The Poll CBS Didn’t Quite Get Around to Reporting
Voter ID is broadly popular, even among Black and Hispanic voters A new CBS News poll shows 80% of Black Americans and 77% of Hispanics support requiring a valid photo ID to vote. This level of cross-racial support directly contradicts the long-standing claim that voter ID is discriminatory or a “modern Jim Crow” tactic.
Voter ID doesn’t suppress turnout, it actually encourages it Among both Black and Hispanic respondents, more than twice as many said a voter ID requirement would make them more likely to vote than less likely. The very policy labeled as “suppressive” appears in the data to boost participation rather than reduce it.
CBS buried the inconvenient findings While the poll showed strong minority support for voter ID and proof of citizenship, CBS’s published article omitted the key question showing that voter ID increases turnout likelihood for these groups. The full dataset reveals majorities of Black and Hispanic voters also favor proof of citizenship and see ineligible voting as a real problem, facts that don’t fit the standard narrative and were conveniently left out of the coverage.

President Donald Trump made it very clear that passing his very popular voter ID bill – the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act – is his “number one priority.” Yet, Network News coverage has been scant.
ABC, CBS, NBC Evening and Morning Show SAVE Act Coverage (2/11- 3/24 morning):

Overwhelming Public Support for SAVE America Act Is Being Deliberately Suppressed. Recent polls show the SAVE America Act enjoys massive bipartisan backing — 71% overall support, including 69% of independents and half of rank-and-file Democrats — with even higher numbers for core provisions like voter ID (81%) and purging non-citizens from voter rolls (80%). Yet the elitist media refuses to inform the public about this broadly popular commonsense measure to ensure only American citizens vote, hoping the story simply “dies on the vine.”
News Apps Join the Media in Ignoring or Smearing Trump’s Election Integrity Push. Major news aggregators (Apple News, Google News, MSN) ran 180 combined top stories over three days with zero mentions of the SAVE America Act. Yahoo News mentioned it only twice — both times from left-leaning outlets that framed the bill negatively, claiming it would “disenfranchise millions of voters” and create “hurdles” for women changing names after marriage, while downplaying noncitizen voting concerns. This pattern reveals coordinated omission and bias against a measure most Americans clearly support.
‘Laken Riley 2.0’; Networks Barely Cover Latest Alleged Murder by an Illegal Immigrant
“Laken Riley 2.0” – Another preventable murder by an illegal immigrant let loose under Biden policies. 18-year-old Loyola University freshman Sheridan Gorman was shot in the back on a Chicago lakefront pier by 25-year-old Venezuelan illegal Jose Medina, who crossed the border in 2023, was released by Border Patrol, and was already wanted for shoplifting in Chicago. Networks waited days to even mention his illegal status.
Broadcast networks buried the story with shockingly minimal coverage. On Tuesday, CBS Mornings was the only flagship network morning news show to cover the arrest of a suspect in Loyola University Chicago student Sheridan Gorman’s murder and that he’s an illegal immigrant battling tuberculosis from Venezuela.
With the 89-second piece, that puts CBS’s overall at two minutes and one second. ABC remained at 79 seconds courtesy of the single story on Monday’s World News Tonight and NBC stood pat at a scant 23 seconds from Monday’s Nightly News. Overall, the tally of coverage moved to three minutes and 43 seconds.
Media bias by omission hides a clear pattern of migrant crime. Fox’s Bill Melugin correctly labeled this “Laken Riley 2.0,” yet the Big Three networks refused to connect the dots or air the family’s demand that Gorman’s death “not be dismissed as ‘wrong place, wrong time.’” This is the same playbook networks used after Riley’s murder: downplay the perpetrator’s immigration status to protect the narrative on border policy.
The US Media Believes the Iranians
U.S. Media Instinctively Sides with Iran Over America The media are immediately believing Iranian denials of negotiations with the Trump administration, rather than trusting their own president. When Trump announced productive talks, Iranian state media denied it, and the U.S. media took Iran’s word just like that.
Iran Lies Repeatedly, Yet Media Still Trusts Them The Iranians have a clear track record of deception: they claimed they have no intention of building a nuclear weapon, and just last week falsely boasted about sinking a U.S. aircraft carrier to look tough. Despite these obvious lies, the media continues to treat Iranian statements as more credible than those from the U.S. government.
Iran’s Regime Is Chaotic and Disorganized, Media Ignores It After Israeli strikes decimated Iranian leadership, the regime is so fractured that the left hand doesn’t know what the right hand is doing. American media overlooks this disarray and Iran’s history of lying, while rushing to undermine Trump’s diplomatic efforts.
