Jesse Watters: ‘The US Media Believes the Iranians’

The U.S. media instinctively trust Iran, instead of their own country’s president, Co-Host Jesse Watters said on Fox News Channel’s “The Five” on Monday.

Watters said he saw the reports earlier in the day after returning from “a news blackout”:

“And, I get back and I see that Trump’s announced he’s negotiating with the Iranians and the Iranians say, ‘No, we’re not.’”

“And, the U.S. media believes the Iranians. Just like that,” Watters said.

“The Iranians do lie, guys,” Watters explained to the leftist reporters siding with Iran:

“They said they had no intentions of building a nuclear weapon.

“They, just last week, said they sunk an aircraft carrier of ours.

So, obviously, they’re lying to look tough.”

“And, how would they know who’s negotiating?” he asked. “The Israelis just killed one of the IRGC leaders who was living in a tent in the woods.”

“I don’t think the left hand knows what the right hand’s doing,” Watters said, pointing out the disorganization among the decimated ranks of the Iranian regime.

Trump reported in a post on TruthSocial.com Monday that he was postponing strikes on Iran’s energy plants due to “very good and productive conversations regarding a complete and total resolution of our hostilities in the middle east.”

Following Iran’s denial, Trump elaborated on the negotiations in an interview with Fox Business Channel’s Maria Bartiromo:

“Iranian state television is denying that any negotiations are underway, but Trump rejected that reporting to Bartiromo, saying peace envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner had spoken with their counterparts Sunday night.”
