SHOCK: TELEMUNDO Cleanly Reports Communist China's Role In COVID-19 Pandemic

April 14th, 2020 8:43 PM

It finally happened: a Spanish-language news network news singled out the government of communist China as being responsible for the global spread of the deadly Coronavirus pandemic.

The jaw-dropping breakthrough was reached on Telemundo, when Al Rojo Vivo (Red Hot) anchor María Celeste Arrarás aired a four and a half minute report that explained why “Intelligence agencies have advised the White House not to believe everything the Chinese government says”

Watch below as Arrarás closes out the report with a surgical summation of China’s role in the pandemic:

MARIA CELESTE ARRARÁS: Now China presents itself to the world as a global guardian angel. This 747 arrived in New York with tons of protective medical equipment shipped by the Chinese government.  Upon analyzing over 300 examples of social media posts from the Chinese government and from the Chinese state press agency, everything appears to indicate that there is a campaign underway to improve the country's image in the face of everything that happened- and to displace the United States as world leader.

During the Al Rojo Vivo edition mentioned above, Arrarás made a point to break down the nefarious actions of China’s communist regime, clearly stating that their intention has always been to protect its image while creating tension, spreading disinformation, and displacing America as the leading global power.

It should be noted that Al Rojo Vivo is mostly a hard-news program, and Arrarás came under frequent scrutiny when she co-anchored Telemundo's nightly newscast. But, it would seem, even a stopped clock is right twice a day- as is Arrarás on China.

At the end of this report, the Telemundo anchor confirmed, once again, China's negligence that led to this unprecedented global chaos. "Well, the reality is that it took two months for the Chinese government to declare a mandatory quarantine after discovering the first case. A study by the University of Southampton concluded that if Beijing had acted three weeks earlier, the number of infections could have been reduced 95% worldwide, which means that we would not be in a pandemic. ”

It now remains to be seen who among Spanish-language media follow through. If at all.

MARÍA CELESTE ARRARÁS: Today there are new questions about what China knew about the coronavirus, and especially since when. U.S. intelligence officers found evidence in November that a serious public health problem, a potential epidemic specifically in Wuhan, might have been occurring in China. But now that China claims to have so few sick and far fewer deaths, you have to listen to what that country says with great skepticism. Intelligence agencies have advised the White House not to believe everything the Chinese government says. Who can forget the Chinese doctor who first alerted the world to what was happening in his country? They threatened him for being honest and forced him to say that what he had said about the danger of a new ultra-contagious virus was false -a virus that ended up killing him.

While China's foreign minister claims otherwise, she says that “we have always been open and transparent in everything.” A study concluded that China did manage to delay the global spread of the virus, thanks to its drastic quarantine mandate. But in January, the World Health Organization said there was no clear evidence that the virus could be transmitted person-to-person, which raises suspicions that the organization was too trusting of what the Chinese said, because by then they knew that 1,700 members of its medical staff had been infected. China kept quiet about all that and then some.

President Trump has been quick to criticize the World Health Organization, which had to go out and defend itself. President Trump himself has been criticized for not acting faster. Especially now that it is known that in January, his trade adviser Peter Navarro sent him a detailed memo explaining that if he did not take immediate action to stop the virus, that it would cost the U.S.  economy 6 trillion dollars. and that in February Navarro sent a second memo warning the president that if he kept waiting, up to 2 million Americans could die.

Trump banned incoming flights from China but did not take forceful steps until March. Now China presents itself to the world as a global guardian angel.
