Even More Crazy: 15 Stupidest Tweets From Journalists on the GOP Debate

September 17th, 2015 2:20 PM

We expect ill-informed and ridiculous things to come out of celebrities' mouths, but even journalists say some really crazy things sometimes. When it comes to talking about the GOP in particular, left-wing media can't help but express their disdain and reveal their bias.

Here are fifteen stupid tweets from the media that came out of last night's debate.

Washington Post journalist Jonathan Capehart claimed that the candidates on stage were too "far right" for Reagan.

Elizabeth Plank of Mic News, meanwhile, was upset that global warming wasn’t brought up early on:

MSNBC host Christopher Hayes, perhaps crying into his sweater again, was seemingly distraught that no one cared about global warming as much as he did:

HBO Real Time host Bill Maher was equally as upset:

Clearly it's a pressing issue.

Bijan Stephen, Associate Editor of The New Republic, meanwhile wondered why hashtag activism wasn't brought up:

Zerlina Maxwell, political analyst, writer for Essence Magazine and Cosmopolitan was similarly aghast:

Katie Couric wanted Fiorina to bring up the tired, age-old "78 cents on the dollar" feminism myth:

MSNBC host Krystal Ball claimed she knew the "facts" on the problems of the "declining middle class." Hmm, I wonder: Did she look into her crystal ball to figure that one out?

Elizabeth Plank blasted the event crassly as a "sausage fest" and expressed her disdain over Fiorina's comments:

Some media personalities were more upset at the responses to the question about the Planned Parenthood vids, than they were to the videos themselves:

Maher was more upset about climate change than "Ben Gazi"

Overall, this tweet from Bijan Stephen seemed to sum up the attitude of journalists to the debate last night:
