How Low Can Joe Go? Even in Delaware, Biden Approval Tanks

We all know President Joe Biden isn’t the most beloved president of all time for good reason, but his approval rating is abysmal even in his home state.

A recent Civiqs poll showed that Biden only has a 46 percent approval rating in Delaware compared to 49 percent disapproval. In April, his approval rating was as high as 50 percent, which was still a significant decrease from the 62 percent rating he had at the same time last year.

While it certainly is a bad look that you can’t even get a favorable rating in your home state, the rest of the country’s view on Biden isn’t too promising either.

Biden only has a positive approval rating in nine states, most of which are unsurprisingly progressive-leaning. But in two of those states -- Rhode Island and Illinois -- he has only very marginal approval ratings (plus three and plus one points, respectively). The state that dislikes him the most is Wyoming, where a whopping 77 percent do not care for the Commander-in-Chief.

We really shouldn’t be surprised by the staggering decline in approval for this bad excuse for a president. Under his administration, gas prices have soared to unfathomable heights, America has been a passive player on the world stage, COVID regulations have trumped personal freedoms, and the quality of press conference interactions and just basic speech, in general, has dipped to pathetic (albeit sometimes hilarious) lows.

It seems like America is catching on to the fact that Biden might not be the right man for the job. Frankly, it is surprising that we haven’t seen these numbers sooner.
