Browns running back Isaiah Crowell took to video, via Facebook on Wednesday, to apologize again for his hideous picture of a police officer having his throat slit. Because, when no one believes your written apology, it makes it much better if you say the same exact thing on video. Apparently.
Didn’t that sound like he basically just read the same statement the Browns PR Department wrote for him the other day? Okay, there is one change from what Crowell said earlier. Now he is promising to donate his first game check to the families of the Dallas Police victims. That overture satisfied the Cleveland Police Patrolman’s Union, who had been threatening to pull protection from Browns games if Crowell did not atone for his grave mistake.
