White House Correspondents’ Dinner Host Dares ‘Poor Little Man’ Trump to Show Up

The most hostile gathering of liberal journalists and comedians is scheduled to be on April 28. And President Trump isn’t going. Gee, who knows why?

On Jimmy Kimmel Live, Michelle Wolf, the White House Correspondents’ Dinner’s host for 2018, spoke to Kimmel about how she felt about Trump avoiding the event for the second time in a row. To say she felt relief is apparently an understatement. The Daily Show writer apparently is so disgusted by the concept of the President that she took the time to express her revulsion.

She told Kimmel, “The first thing I thought was, ‘Oh thank God, I don’t have to hear Trump eat!’ You know he doesn’t chew with his mouth closed! He’s probably like a real smacky eater, and like a mouth breather at the same time.”

Um, okay. Unless she speaks from experience, that’s quite a speculation. But then Kimmel laughingly asked Wolf, “What if Trump shows up at the last minute?”

Wolf responded, “If he does show up, it would be real fun … I’d like to look him in the eye. I like making fun of people when they’re there.”

The late night talk show host then decided to suggest something: “You should dare him to do it. That’s the only way you could potentially get him to come.”

Then Wolf responded enthusiastically, “Yeah! I dare you, you poor little man! I’ll give you five dollars if you come.”

As if Kathy Griffin at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner wasn’t deterrent enough, now they want Trump to come and listen to the host rant about how he eats? Sounds counter-productive.
