Large swaths of the Regime Media have begun to move away from coverage of the security lapses that led to a potential assassin setting up unabated just outside the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida. NBC and CBS continue to omit the failed shooter’s calls for Iran to assassinate former President Donald Trump.

Just 48 hours after the second attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump, the Regime Media are back to leveraging the rhetoric regarding Springfield, Ohio: this time, as a whatabout device with which to justify future insightful rhetoric against Trump.

The major networks were very eager to descend upon Springfield, Ohio and channel outrage over the “dogs and cats” controversy. However, the Regime Media do not share the same enthusiasm for more inconvenient immigration stories, such as those concerning violent Venezuelan transnational gang Tren de Aragua (TdA).

With the aftermath of the second assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump drawing significant coverage, the Springfield “dogs and cats” story is beginning to recede from view- except on CBS, which chose to flog the story for at least one more night.

We do not yet have the details or motives behind the second attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump, but the cable talking heads are already calling out for one of the preferred items on the left’s policy pu-pu platter: gun control.

As we exposed earlier, the Regime Media have wasted no time in blaming former President Donald Trump’s “rhetoric” for the second assassination attempt against him. The evening newscasts have now picked up MSNBC’s lead, tying the attempted shooting to the “dogs and cats rhetoric coming out of Springfield, Ohio.

In the immediate aftermath of a second attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump in 9 weeks, with the shooter’s barrel not yet cold there are already efforts to blame Trump for getting shot at.

The Peacock Network presented as a news report an item demonizing those who caution against illegal aliens voting, while simultaneously admitting that illegal aliens vote. This report is another instance of the Regime Media holding off on reporting something inconvenient until it can be made into a Trump-adverse story. 

It appears that NBC News has definitely settled on a post-debate angle. Having not been an active participant in the clinic on awful moderation put on by ABC, the Peacock Network is going with full-blown Swiftamania.

During his post-debate spin room interview with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins, Ohio Senator and GOP vice presidential nominee JD Vance made the point that the Regime Media had zero interest in what was going on in Ohio until cat memes began popping up on social media. The Regime Media regimed very hard whilst covering the second first presidential debate of this election cycle, between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris. The Tiffany Network was no exception.

U.S. Senator and GOP vice presidential nominee JD Vance went into the post-debate spin room and exposed the media’s omissive biases when covering the effects of the border disaster in small towns like Springfield, Ohio. It took cat memes to get the media to look at the story.

If the leader of North Korea were to give some sort of speech or participate in some multilateral event, one could reasonably expect the North Korean state media to gush to its captive audience about the Dear Leader’s muscular and virile performance. This is on par with MSNBC’s analysis at the conclusion of the debate between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris

Multiple corners of the internet were roiled by the news that Univision and senior anchor Jorge Ramos agreed to part ways at the end of the year. While this is a welcome development, I would urge caution against labeling this move as indicative of any sort of ideological shift at the network.
