On the night before voters in Wisconsin go to the polls for the presidential primary, ABC’s World News Tonight found it worthwhile to spend nearly its entire time allotted for Ted Cruz rehashing the unsubstantiated smears from the National Enquirer tabloid about extramarital affairs.

While NBC ignored the news that top Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin would soon be taking questions from the FBI about the Democratic frontrunner’s e-mail scandal, Monday’s NBC Today instead chose to gush over the longtime Clinton confidante answering softballs on a liberal podcast. 

In March, the GOP nomination contest winnowed to essentially a two-man race between frontrunner Donald Trump and Texas Senator Ted Cruz, with Ohio Governor John Kasich trailing far behind.
