When a news organization advances an agenda, everything is fair game. Univision News demonstrated as much during its shamefully politicized Memorial Day Weekend coverage.

Late Tuesday afternoon, CNN and MSNBC were both granted interviews with Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and while both had to nearly identical run times (seven minutes and 44 seconds on CNN versus seven minutes and 47 seconds on MSNBC), the two differed on a variety of issues ranging from Clinton’s e-mail scandal to her refusal to hold a press conference to the VA scandal.

Tuesday morning on MSNBC Live, host Steve Kornacki had liberal actor turned activist George Takei on as a guest. Gone are the days where Star Trek fans remember George Takei as their beloved Mr. Sulu. Now, he has coined the phrase #VoteBlueNoMatterWho, and is encouraging Democrats around the country, specifically Californians, to keep their eye on the prize and get behind Hillary Clinton. 

From time to time, a story rolls around which will clearly illustrate the absurdities of the institutional biases at Univision News. The latest instance of such a story is the network's coverage of the controversy surrounding a Wisconsin frozen custard establishment's decision to implement an "English-Only" ordering policy.

Like a tried and true liberal lapdog, the North Carolina media have applied a full-court press (pun intended) to attack Republican Governor Pat McCrory over the transgender bathroom law to the point that the leftist site Politifact hounded McCrory over a general statement that the pro-gay Human Rights Campaign (HRC) is both powerful and full of secret donors. 

They once shared co-hosting duties on NBC’s Today show and now it looks like Bryant Gumbel has joined Katie Couric in being accused of using deceptive editing techniques to attack gun rights. After nearly a week's worth of controversy, Univision anchor María Elena Salinas has seen fit to address the pushback to portions of her commencement speech at Cal State Fullerton.
