During an appearance on CNN’s Don Lemon Tonight on Monday, CNN national security Analyst Juliette Kayyem made the Orwellian suggestion that guns in America were a “homeland security problem.” But the craziness didn’t stop there as she claimed “responsible gun ownership” means you don’t own semi-automatic rifles and that gun manufacturers have made mass shootings “very sexy.”

On Friday morning, MSNBC host Jose Diaz-Balart devoted a segment to trying link racism to the recent surge in car crash deaths over the past two years. The segment failed to make a more plausible connection that the anti-police movement has led to less enforcement of traffic laws since the police-involved death of George Floyd.

CNN on Tuesday spent over seven minutes hyping Republicans trying to atone and hide their allegedly extreme position when it comes to abortion. Reporter Kyung Lah spotlighted Republican senatorial candidates changing their website now that they have the nomination. But nowhere in the segment was there anything on the extreme stance of Democrats when it comes to abortion. 

A giddy Stephanie Ruhle could hardly contain her excitement on Monday’s The 11th Hour as the MSNBC host applauded Democrats for “fighting like Republicans” on alleged GOP hypocrisy on student loan forgiveness. As a result of all the pom-pom waving, facts were forced to take a back seat.
