Being an election year, 2024 gave the late night comedians an extra incentive to pile on the liberal advocacy. However, there was more to 2024 than just the presidential election, so from the Supreme Court to foreign affairs to the election and everything in-between, here is a David Letterman-style top ten list of the worst moments from the past year from the late night comedy shows.

In an election year that saw an unprecedented and horrific pair of assassination attempts on a major party candidate for president, it’s important to note who in the liberal media were stoking the flames of hate with incendiary rhetoric. ABC’s The View has been no stranger to such rhetoric, as NewsBusters noted in our 2023 roundup, which included a call for murdering pro-lifers.

The View’s Sunny Hostin is arguably one of the most racist personalities in the liberal media these days. She white people, particularly white women, are among her favorite hate objects. White women who marry black Republicans also get the brunt of her hatred. She does all this while also claiming it’s America writ-large who’s the truly racist ones.

The horrific murder of a woman on the New York City subway, by involuntary immolation at the hands of an illegal migrant, has shocked the nation while going almost unreported on the “legacy” networks. Today NBC Nightly News broke the ice, leaving ABC Whirled News Tonight as the lone network holdout.

The Regime Media, with just weeks remaining in the Biden presidency, appear uncertain as to how to cover one of his big legacy items: the commutation of 37 out of 40 federal death row inmates. Evening news coverage ranged from treating it as an afterthought to making it all about Biden. 

What exactly is it that you do here?
