On Thursday’s edition of HLN’s S.E. Cupp Unfiltered, host S.E. Cupp and her panel continued their multipart deep dive conversation to try and get to a solution for gun crime and mass shootings. The day’s conversation entailed the role of the media and whether or not they were helping the situation. Included on the panel was CNN senior media reporter Brian Stelter and while he was defending media advocacy and their “humility” he was embarrassingly schooled for it.

In the wee hours of Thursday morning, CNN began taking heat for supposedly scripting much of their train wreck a gun control town hall from just hours earlier. Colton Haab, a Parkland shooting survivor who protected his fellow students, told a local ABC affiliate that CNN would not allow him to ask the questions he had prepared and wanted him to read theirs.

The Wednesday CNN town hall promoting gun bans and moderated by Jake Tapper was arguably a train wreck from the beginning. Between a student saying Senator Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) reminded him of the shooter and shouts of ‘murderer’ at NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch, it was out of control. But in the wee hours of Thursday morning, things got worse for the anti-gun network when the local Florida ABC affiliate WPLG-TV reported that CNN had been planting questions.

Wednesday's CNN town hall to promote gun control and gun grabbing was off the rails from the very start. So-called moderator Jake Tapper sat back as the wild crowd targeted Republican Senator Marco Rubio with boos and jeers for basically just being there. The wildest moment allowed by Tapper was when Parkland, Florida student Cameron Kasky smeared the Senator by equating him to the shooter that killed 17 of his classmates.

MSNBC’s Katy Tur has a glaring habit of letting her anti-Republican hatred run wild while confronting and slamming GOPers on issues she knows little about. The same was true when she hosted the 2:00 p.m. hour of MSNBC Live on Wednesday when the network’s cameras were in Florida Governor Rick Scott’s office documenting anti-gun protestors screaming at the receptionists while he wasn’t there.

HLN conservative host S.E. Cupp followed up her masterful takedown of self-righteous journalists who become anti-gun activists, last Thursday, by using the opening monologue of Tuesday’s S.E. Cupp Unfiltered to call out disingenuous gun grabbers for lying about their intentions. “There is nothing more disingenuous than the idea that no one is talking about banning guns,” Cupp declared.

The anti-gun hysteria in the wake of Parkland, Florida school shooting appeared to have reached a fever pitch Tuesday as NBC Nightly News ran a report touting social media posts by irrational former gun owners destroying their weapons. “Some gun owners are posting videos of themselves destroying or getting rid of their firearms, declaring ‘one less gun’ on social media,” fill-in anchor Savannah Guthrie gleefully announced.

Since the Parkland, Florida school shooting late last week, the liberal media has been leaping at every opportunity to put one of the young anti-gun student activists on the screen so they can parrot back liberal talking points on guns. A great demonstration of this occurred on Monday’s edition of MSNBC’s Hardball where host Chris Matthews took anti-gun activist Chris Grady through his NRA/GOP bashing paces.

After the church shooting in Sutherland Springs, Texas last year, a bipartisan group of lawmakers came together to craft legislation with the goal of making sure the federal background check system was up to date since the shooter should have been barred from buying a gun but authorities didn’t add him. And since the Parkland, Florida shooting, the bill has picked up steam. But on Monday’s CBS Evening News, the network seemed to pooh-pooh the idea of better background checks and preferred a gun ban.

In an appearance on NBC’s Sunday Today early that morning, moderator Chuck Todd lambasted Republicans for being the reason gun control efforts were making no progress since they were in control of the House, Senate, and the Presidency. Todd ratcheted up his anti-gun stance during Meet the Press by promoting radical calls to abolish the right to bear arms by repealing the Second Amendment. And he did it by highlighting the writings of Bret Stephens, a never-Trumper turned liberal.

ABC News gave up any illusion that they were going to objectively cover the Parkland school shooting on Sunday when fill-in host Martha Raddatz relinquished control of This Week to radical anti-gun activists. Between students claiming the GOP had blood on their hands and claims the NRA was sponsoring the shootings, and letting a Democratic Congressman control the debate and grill a Republican, it was clear ABC stood against gun rights.

The liberal media flocked to a gun control rally that was held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida Saturday in the wake of the Parkland school shooting. They were eager to spread the group’s message and during their Sunday morning shows, ABC’s Good Morning America and NBC’s Sunday Today hyped the new wave of “student activism” and claimed they had the “momentum here.”

The Special Counsel investigation into Russian meddling in the 2016 election dropped federal indictments on 13 Russian nationals on Friday, stunning Washington, DC. And in a press briefing a short time later, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein told the media that the indictments had no allegations against Americans because none were “knowing participants” in the plot and the election outcome was not swayed. But that didn’t sit well with a CNN Newsroom panel who couldn’t seem to wrap their heads around it.

In a serious and pointed opening monologue during her Thursday show on HLN, conservative host S.E. Cupp scolded the liberal media, including allusions to her network (CNN) for shunning serious discussion and understanding of guns and gun owners for unbridled political activism.“I do know that there isn’t likely a law, existing or imagined, that would have prevented it. Anyone who says otherwise is not being honest with you,” she began her media rebuke.

Fresh off their disinformation campaign in the immediate aftermath of the Parkland, Florida school shooting in which they falsely claimed there had been 18 school shootings this year, the three major network news outlets (ABC, CBS, and NBC) moved on to another fake news topic they wanted to push on the American people: President Trump and the GOP made it easier for mentally ill people to buy guns.

In the immediate aftermath of Wednesday’s school shooting at a Parkland, Florida high school, the liberal media sprinted to push gun control while vigorously waving a ridiculous school shooting statistic put out by the anti-gun lobbyist group, Everytown for Gun Safety. According to their numbers, there had been 18 school shootings since the start of 2018. The only problem? It was bogus. So much so, even the liberal Washington Post found the need to call out them and the rest of the media.

In the aftermath of Wednesday's terrible school shooting in Parkland, Florida, the liberal media callously rushed to use the deaths to push for more gun control. And in their haste, the three major network news outlets (ABC, CBS, and NBC) relied on a statistic from the anti-gun lobbying group Everytown for Gun Safety which claimed that there had been 18 school shootings since the start of 2018. And since it fits the narrative, why fact check?

In the wake of the tragic school shooting in Parkland, Florida, host Don Lemon began Wednesday’s CNN Tonight completely off the rails as he delivered a rambling tirade smearing gun rights advocates and telling viewers it was only a matter of time before they or one of their loved ones was killed by a gun.

During an appearance on MSNBC’s MTP Daily on Wednesday to discuss the Parkland, Florida school shooting, former ATF special agent Jim Cavanaugh expressed what could arguably be called a disdain for the Second Amendment when he chided it as a “suicide pact” and dismissed the concerns of gun rights advocates.

In the midst of World News Tonight coverage of the tragic school shooting at a Parkland, Florida high school Wednesday, ABC Senior White House Correspondent Cecilia Vega took a political swipe at President Trump over his position on gun control and his refusal to push it.
