The pundit class have lost their minds over the Trump administration’s zero-tolerance border enforcement policy. Since Friday, the collective breakdown has yielded a total of 22 instances in which cable news commentators compared the separation of parents and children illegally entering the country to World War II-era war crimes and human rights violations.

On Friday's MTP Daily, during a discussion of the issue of the Trump administration separating immigrant children from parents who are being prosecuted for crossing the border illegally, panel members admitted that President Barack Obama's administration also separated some illegal immigrant families as they were processed. PBS's Yamiche Alcindor even suggested that the focus on President Donald Trump is justified because his presidential campaign "was founded -- in some ways, people think -- in a racist way."

On Sunday's AM Joy, MSNBC was again spreading misinformation on the Ohio voter purge law which requires registered voters to either vote at least once every six years, or at least respond to an address verification inquiry through the mail, in order to remain registered to vote. But -- as MSNBC has previously done -- a panel discussion heavily suggested that voters would lose their right to vote after just a couple of years of nonvoting, threatening the voting rights of those who only vote every four years in presidential elections.

Appearing as a guest on Sunday's AM Joy, race-obsessed MSNBC contributor Jason Johnson accused former FBI director James Comey of resenting Attorney General Loretta Lynch for being a "black woman boss," and then went on to accuse Trump administration members of being "terrorists" who "terrorize people into leaving the country" to promote "white nationalism."

On Saturday's AM Joy show, MSNBC viewers were treated to the latest in a recent string of Bible-thumping on the liberal news network to promote left-wing policy as anti-evangelical Christian activist Frank Schaeffer excoriated pro-Donald Trump white Christians as "pimps of evil" who are "Jesus-hating," and need to "repent" by voting against President Trump in the future.

On Tuesday night's Rachel Maddow Show, the MSNBC host's usual elongated lecture contained a few seconds of easily identifiable falsehood. In attempting to underline just how badly Trump negotiated with the North Koreans, she claimed the communists "gave up nothing. They promised nothing." This at the very least left out three American hostages released.

During MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell Reports on Friday, Mitchell and her liberal guests all agreed that Playboy’s Brian Karem was completely “justified” in attempting to shout down and scold White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders during Thursday’s chaotic press briefing. The panel of media pundits even lamented that there weren’t more reporters as unhinged as Karem in the White House press corps.

On Friday's Velshi and Ruhle show on MSNBC, host Ali Velshi joined in the liberal news network's recent spate of Bible-thumping to justify left-wing policy as he actually took out a large Christian Bible and read from it on camera. He also voiced agreement with his guest, Father James Martin, as the Jesuit priest declared that Attorney General Jeff Sessions is "weaponizing the Gospels and the Bible" against illegal immigrants.

During an overwrought panel discussion on Friday’s MSNBC Live With Stephanie Ruhle, former Barack Obama campaign staffer Stephanie Cutter and political analyst Michael Steele took turns comparing illegal immigrant detention centers along the U.S. southern border to Nazi death camps.

On Thursday's Deadline: White House on MSNBC, during a discussion of the White House's efforts to enforce immigration laws, the panel descended into hyperbole as host Nicolle Wallace actually likened the government to the MS-13 gang as she charged that the Trump administration is "terrorizing children" by separating them from their parents, as required by law.

Over the past couple of days, Fox News Channel and CBS have given significant attention to a shooting attack on a Border Patrol agent in Arizona in an area "known for smugglers and traffickers," as CNN, ABC, and NBC have ignored it completely while MSNBC has barely touched the story. By contrast, these same networks have been fixated in recent days on the treatment of illegal immigrants who are separated from their children after illegal border crossings.

During Wednesday’s edition of MSNBC's Morning Joe, co-host Mika Brzezinski read aloud a tweet from President Trump pointing out how “A year ago the pundits & talking heads, people that couldn’t do the job before, were begging for conciliation and peace, ‘please meet, don’t go to war.’ Now that we meet and have a great relationship with Kim Jong Un, the same haters shout out, ‘you shouldn’t meet, do not meet!’”
