ABC & CBS Focus More on 3rd Place Loser Than GOP Primary Winners

Despite controversial West Virginia Senate candidate Don Blankenship only finishing a distance third place in Tuesday’s Republican primary, on Wednesday, ABC’s Good Morning America and CBS This Morning devoted much of their election coverage to his defeat while barely mentioning the GOP candidates who won primary contests in numerous states.

NYT Hits Trump 'Sound and Fury,' Likes Obama 'Lofty Approach'

In Monday’s New York Times, Washington bureau Jeremy Peters tsk-tsked the new tastelessness among GOP candidates in “Forget About Restraint, G.O.P. Candidates Echo Trump’s Sound and Fury" -- as in "signifying nothing." The text box: “Greater ease talking about vanquishing foes than governing.” Peters much preferred "the lofty approach of the Obamas."

Hayes Mocks GOP for Talking Hillary, Runs Full Segment About Hillary

Chris Hayes began then final segment of MSNBC’s All In on Monday night by lambasting Republicans for “running against Hillary Clinton” in the 2018 midterms. Ironically, Hayes spent entire remainder of his show discussing Hillary Clinton.
