The broadcast networks were shamed into stepping up their game Thursday night and Friday morning in covering the House Energy and Commerce Committee hearing on TikTok as members of both parties put on one of the more bipartisan displays one could ever witness in these divisive times, but they still managed to slip in a few pathetic nods to so-called influencers.

The miserable millionaires of ABC’s The View spent part of their Friday show lecturing average Americans about how “greedy” they were and how they live lives of “excess.” According to the cast, Americans needed to “get rid of possessions” and pay more in taxes so they could live happy lives like the people in Finland or like meditating monks who have been to prison.

MSNBC keeps coming up with reasons to oppose a potential presidential campaign by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
