May 5th, 2013 6:07 PM
It really is amazing how excited liberal media members can get when the economy produces 165,000 jobs and a 7.5 percent unemployment rate under a Democratic president.
So enthralled was Chris Matthews that he actually asked guests on the syndicated program bearing his name Sunday if this will give Democrats including Hillary Clinton "bragging rights" in 2016 (video follows with transcript and…

April 26th, 2013 12:43 PM
Two Democratic political operatives were convicted Thursday of forging names to get Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton on the 2008 Indiana presidential primary ballot.
Given the media's belief that there's no such thing as voter fraud, it will be interesting to see if outlets other than Fox News report this:

In part two of her interview with President Obama aired on Wednesday's NBC Today, co-host Savannah Guthrie lobbed several softballs, wrapping up the exchange by wondering: "I know you're not endorsing, but do you personally hope that Hillary Clinton runs in 2016?...Do you miss her around here?" [Listen to the audio or watch the video after the jump]
Obama used Guthrie's prompting to praise…
Bill Maher: 'The Role Model for Every President Should be Jimmy Carter
April 13th, 2013 2:16 PM
Bill Maher has said a lot of REALLY dumb things throughout his career, but this howler uttered with a straight face on HBO's Real Time Friday might possibly be his stupidest.
"Do you know who the role model for every president should be? Jimmy Carter" (video follows with transcript and commentary):
Paleo-Rocker Stephen Stills Slams GOP as 'Neanderthal' Party
April 10th, 2013 4:13 PM
Just my impression but it sounded like the man said this without a trace of irony.
Singer/songwriter and political activist Stephen Stills appeared on Stephanie Miller's radio show yesterday and succeeded only in reinforcing my long-held disdain for hippies. (audio clip after page break)

April 9th, 2013 3:08 PM
Campaign 2016 has already started, and the New York Times weighed in on the presidential hopefuls in three stories Tuesday. So far, it's a hail for Hillary, a ho-hum greeting for Joe Biden, and hostility toward Republican governors Chris Christie and Bobby Jindal. David Halbfinger's Tuesday front-page story was loaded with hostility toward New Jersey's governor: "Brash Christie Plays Rutgers…

April 8th, 2013 3:55 PM
New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd revved up the Hillary for President bandwagon on the front of the Sunday Review in "Can We Get Hillary Without the Foolery?"
Of course Hillary is running. I’ve never met a man who was told he could be president who didn’t want to be president. So naturally, a woman who’s told she can be the first commandress in chief wants to be.

Appearing on Monday's Today, Abby Huntsman, daughter of former presidential candidate Jon Huntsman, offered kind words eulogizing Margaret Thatcher: "What we know about Margaret Thatcher is she's a woman with so much courage...She really sticks to her convictions, and that's rare today. I think she really paved the way for women in politics....her legacy will be remembered forever." [Listen to…
Politico's Roger Simon: 'How Good a Job Did Hillary Clinton Really Do
April 7th, 2013 5:17 PM
As the media predictably gush and fawn over the thought of Hillary Clinton as president, there's something extremely obvious they've been missing.
Rather surprisingly, Roger Simon, the perilously liberal chief political columnist at Politico, asked the $64 million question on CNN's Reliable Sources Sunday, "How good a job did she really do as Secretary of State?" (video follows with…
Arianna Huffington: Hillary Clinton Is ‘Sending a Bad Message to Wom
April 7th, 2013 12:39 PM
The liberal media have been gushing and fawning for weeks about Hillary Clinton beginning her obvious campaign for president.
Don’t count Arianna Huffington among them, for on ABC’s This Week Sunday, the founder of the Huffington Post actually said that Clinton not taking some time off to recharge herself is “sending a bad message to women that the only way to succeed, the only way to run is…

April 5th, 2013 5:37 PM
ABC is pushing hard for a Hillary Clinton presidential run in 2016. Earlier this week, as NewsBusters reported, Good Morning America reporter Claire Shipman launched “Hillary Watch” amid a gushing report that featured a Clinton supporter outside a rally saying that Hillary’s “got to save the country.” On Thursday, George Stephanopoulos fanned the flames of speculation with a post on ABC’s…
Politico Has a Fever Over Possible Hillary Clinton 2016 Presidential R
April 4th, 2013 5:18 PM
As of about 4:30 p.m., a search at the Politico on "Hillary Clinton" (in quotes) returned about 20 results -- for April alone. While a few of the results are teases for longer items, that's out-of-control coverage of someone who officially left government weeks ago.
The reasons for the obsession, of course, are to try to convince Mrs. Clinton to run for president in 2016 and to clear the…

April 3rd, 2013 1:38 PM
On Wednesday's CBS This Morning, Jan Crawford played up how voters supposedly find Vice President Joe Biden's "gaffes almost endearing", as she reported on the potential face-off between President Obama's running mate and Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential race. Crawford played clips of Biden's most infamous gaffes, and later added that these verbal slip-ups "may not be so funny for the…
