The Wednesday edition of CBS’s The Late Show was defined by host Stephen Colbert giving two odes to liberal budget priorities. First, Colbert insisted that PBS documentaries on transgender people in Ohio bowling leagues are of vital importance before marveling at Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s “righteous anger” at President Trump, Elon Musk, and DOGE.

The Legacy Media continue their disgusting advocacy on behalf of Kilmar Abrego García, the illegal alien and documented MS-13 gangbanger deported to El Salvador and detained within its notorious CECOT supermax. And they did so while deliberately ignoring gut-wrenching testimony from Rachel Morin’s mother, Patty. 

On Deadline White House, snooty host Nicolle Wallace suggests that Walmart is the place you shop if you forgot an item. Blaming President Trump, Wallace also claims that the economy is in "mortal danger." Her evidence: the stock market was down 700 points today.

Even though it’s doubtful the liberal base or even establishment asked for it, former President Joe Biden gave his first speech Tuesday night since leaving the White House and, given the depths of their hatred for President Trump, ABC and NBC sang Biden’s praises for “sounding the alarm about how divided the nation is” and “defend[ing] Social Security.”

In March, ABC’s nominal funny man Jimmy Kimmel sat down with Rolling Stone’s Stephen Rodrick for a wide-ranging interview that was published on Tuesday and naturally touched on Kimmel’s place in the Trump era. Among other things, on America’s ability to “do the right thing,” Kimmel mourned, “That’s obviously in the past.”

The Trump administration has annihilated funding for a Soros-funded group dedicated to undermining the criminal justice system, following a Media Research Center exposé.

The New York Times posted a hilarious meltdown Tuesday night complaining the Trump administration has “tak[en] steps to more closely control” the Brady Briefing Room. Their alleged crime against journalism? Instituting a “new media seat” to lead off the briefing and “[o]n average, a quarter of the people” called on “for questions are standing along the perimeter.”

The idea that the late night comedy shows are just MSNBC with jokes was on full display on Tuesday’s installment of CBS’s The Late Show. Host Stephen Colbert claimed that the Trump Administration’s recent demands on Harvard were “ridiculous,” “insane,” and “dictatorial,” but Colbert never provided any context for why those demands were given.

News of the Trump administration’s demands of Harvard University as a condition of continued access to federal funding broke today, and the liberal institutions are up in arms. The evening network newscasts went in on the story, defending Harvard like it was an illegal alien gangbanger about to get deported to El Salvador.

On CNN This Morning, host Audie Cornish casts the showdown between the Trump administration and Harvard and other universities over federal funding as being about free expression. It's not. Universities can teach whatever they want. But they can't have it both ways. If Harvard wants to have complete freedom of operation, it should make like Hillsdale College and reject any federal or state…

When the “Big Three” networks of ABC, CBS, and NBC weren’t lamenting Tuesday morning the plight of their beloved “Maryland man” Kilmar Abrego Garcia, they each complaining about the Trump administration freezing $2 billion in taxpayer funding from far-left and private Harvard University, siding with the university’s insistence it spend taxpayer dollars as it sees fit.

Liberals may view MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow as something of an intellectual, but her Monday show disproved that notion. If all you did was listen to Maddow, you would come to the conclusion that Trump is waging war on universities simply because he can and not because they have an anti-Semitism problem.

For the Tax Day edition of CNN’s Inside Politics on Tuesday, media correspondent Brian Stelter joined host Dana Bash to allege that President Trump wants to defund PBS and NPR for “simply covering the news.” If Stelter really believes that then he has a funny definition of what is newsworthy.
