June 4th, 2012 10:42 AM
Peter Goodman, the business editor for the perilously liberal Huffington Post, has come up with a new highly-derogatory term for people on the right that believe there isn't an unlimited amount of money at the government's disposal.
His Monday headline read, "Bleeding Cash Conservatives Wasting Money To Punish Vulnerable Americans":

June 4th, 2012 9:14 AM
CNN's Christiane Amanpour is clearly campaigning for the reelection of the current White House resident.
In an interview with Raul Castro's daughter Mariela to be aired later on Monday, Amanpour actually asked her guest, "Do you want Obama to win the next election?" (video follows with transcribed highlights and commentary):
David Brooks Feels for Obama on PBS: 'You Have to Feel Sorry for Him
June 3rd, 2012 3:51 PM
On Friday's PBS NewsHour, both "conservative" David Brooks and liberal Mark Shields thought this was a tough, tight election for Barack Obama. Shields said "it becomes a race about disqualifying, a campaign about disqualifying your opponent. And that's not attractive or appealing. It's not hope and change. It's blood and guts."
But Brooks really felt Obama's pain: "So the president is…

John Heilemann: 'Mitt Romney Is Never Going to be Likable
June 3rd, 2012 12:41 PM

After penning a much-discussed cover story Monday outlining the current White House's plans to attack its Republican opponent as the devil incarnate, Heilemann on this weekend's syndicated Chris Matthews Show said, "Mitt Romney is never going to be…

June 3rd, 2012 10:51 AM
As we approach Election Day, it's becoming more and more important for the Obama-loving media to give credit to the President for the economies of swing states governed by Republicans that are doing better economically than the rest of the country.
Candy Crowley did her part on CNN's State of the Union Sunday by asking Governor Bob McDonnell (R-Va.), "Don’t you credit President Obama at all…

June 2nd, 2012 6:47 AM
This is hot on the liberal Twittersphere: “The Charts That Should Accompany All Discussions of Media Bias” by James Fallows, a former U.S. News & World Report editor (and Jimmy Carter speechwriter). Fallows is now a weekend contributor to National Public Radio.
Once again, they drag out charts based on a Pew ”study” of the media: “They are the ones presented this morning by John Sides,…

Tyrrell Column: While George Will Was Calling Donald a 'Bloviating Ign
June 1st, 2012 4:35 PM
Did I waste my time last Sunday? In the morning, I was reading "The New York Times," acquainting myself with precisely how the rich and famous live. The editors of the Times chose this story for its front page, so I figured they thought it important. It involved the Romney family and someone called Jan Ebeling. It turns out I could have spent my time otherwise.
On Sunday morning, the…

June 1st, 2012 3:03 PM
A Thursday Politico story by Jim Vandehei and Mike Allen struck a nerve among liberal journalists by daring to suggest conservatives have a point when it comes to charges of media bias, singling out slanted coverage in the New York Times and the Washington Post:
On the front page of its Sunday edition, the New York Times gave a big spread to Ann Romney spending lots of time and tons of money…

June 1st, 2012 11:00 AM
As the campaign season moves forward, the American people will see more "desperation" by the liberal media and President Obama as the case for his reelection grows harder to justify. "They're not seeing gravitas and they're not seeing presidential statesmanship," NewsBusters publisher Brent Bozell told Fox News Channel's Sean Hannity during last night's "Media Mash" segment.
Bozell was…
African-American Former Congressman Artur Davis's Switch from Dems to
May 31st, 2012 11:48 PM
Artur who? The seems to be the question at the New York Times and the national site of the Associated Press. Searches on former Congressman Artur Davis (in quotes at the Times, not in quotes at AP) return nothing relevant and nothing, respectively, even though Davis appears to be the only African-American current or former congressman to leave the Democratic Part and become a Republican in…
