Schlockumentary filmmaker Michael Moore had some straight talk for Barack Obama Monday. In a letter to the President published at the perilously liberal Huffington Post, Moore advised Obama to "DRIVE THE RICH RIGHT OFF THEIR FISCAL CLIFF" while putting an end to "the s***ting on the poor."

When Barack Obama was campaigning for president in 2008, he and his supporters in the media claimed his election would create a post-racial America. Far from accomplishing that, the United States appears more racially divided than it has in decades.

BMI Assistant Editor Julia Seymour appeared on "Your World" with Neil Cavuto to discuss the media's coverage of the Fiscal Cliff on November 15.  Seymour cited a BMI study which found that the three major networks blamed Congress 16 more times than they blamed President Obama for the approaching Fiscal Cliff. Americans were told during the 2008 presidential campaign that electing Barack Obama would create a "post-racial" nation. Obama's first post-election press conference, if you could call it that, tells us a great deal about his attitude and the approach he intends to pursue in his second term, which is the same failed policy mix on steroids.
