The elitist media and crazed celebrities spewed vile venom against their fellow Americans all this past month.
The View’s Sunny Hostin kicked off the hatefest when she admitted her flag-waving neighbors scare her: “I see American flags all over the community, and I suddenly feel unsafe.”
Former CNN anchor Don Lemon raged against MAGA, calling it the “modern version of the Nazi Party.” His one-time CNN colleague Jim Acosta claimed that the “sadistic” Donald Trump wanted to put “reporters in jail.”
They couldn’t even put their anger on pause for a minute when Senator Lindsey Graham passed away. Joy Reid viciously trashed the recently deceased Republican Senator, as she claimed he was headed to Hell because he “sold his soul” for Trump.
Christians came under attack as well, with former reality TV star turned leftist podcaster Jennifer Welch depicting homeschoolers as “crazy” Christians. Comedian D.L. Hughley joined in the anti-Christian bigotry as he claimed socialist New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani was “putting Christians to shame.”
The following are the most obnoxious outbursts from leftist journalists and celebrities over the last month:

Sunny Hostin: I Feel “Unsafe” Whenever I See American Flags All Over a Community
Hostin says that any community with American flags is automatically racist:

“I said this on this show many, many years ago. Because this is my tenth year on the show and I said there are times; when I walk into a community, and I see American flags all over the community, and I suddenly feel unsafe, because there’s a section of this country that has co-opted the American flag and they equate being an American or an American flag with white supremacy.”

Don Lemon: MAGA Is the “Modern Version of the Nazi Party”
Don Lemon: “MAGA is the closest thing to the modern version of the Nazi Party, without the Holocaust and all that stuff. That sort of mindset, that’s what MAGA is. They’re really not voting for the price of eggs. They’re voting for white supremacy” pic.twitter.com/pWQKL3MPHu

“MAGA is the closest thing to the modern version of the Nazi Party. This is America’s version. It’s the closest thing, without the Holocaust and all that stuff. That sort of mindset. That’s what MAGA is….No matter how many facts and how much information you give them about this presidency, about the policies, they don’t change their minds because they’re really not voting for the price of eggs. They’re voting for White supremacy.”
— Former CNN anchor Don Lemon on the Can’t Be Censored podcast, July 15.
Jim Acosta Claims Trump Wants “More Reporters In Jail”
“I think they do want to put reporters, more reporters in jail, and they want to make it very difficult for news organizations to tell the truth in this country. I experienced that firsthand. But there’s something sadistic about it - there’s a sadism in this and, that Donald Trump seems, and his people seem to really get off on grinding down the free press in this country.”
— Former CNN anchor Jim Acosta on MS NOW’s The 11th Hour with Ali Velshi, July 23.
Lawrence O’Donnell: Dr. Anthony Fauci Hearing Was a “Stalinist Tribunal”
Fauci thinks Sen. Rand Paul has an obsession with him.

[Clip of Dr. Anthony Fauci: “Under the advice of my attorneys, I will invoke my right under the Fifth Amendment to the Constitution to refrain from answering your questions. Thank you.”]
Host Lawrence O’Donnell: “And that led Rand Paul to turn his hearing room into the most disgraceful Stalinist tribunal the United States Senate has ever seen.”
— MS NOW’s The Last Word, July 29.
WashPost’s Phillip Kennicott Compares Trump Administration To “Authoritarian-Minded Regimes”
“I think it’s about controlling how we tell history, whether that’s at the material level of a building or when it comes to the narratives that are intertwined and unfolded in a place like the Smithsonian. Authoritarian-minded regimes have always understood that there is both an material and an intellectual aspect of history. And if you can erase history in the material world, in the built world, you assert great power to actually erase narratives in places like the Smithsonian. And if you have that power, then, of course, you can control the present and the future.”
— Washington Post Culture Critic Phillip Kennicott on PBS News Hour, July 28.
CNN’s Abby Phillip on Non-Citizens Voting in New Jersey: Is This Really “Fraud?”
Abby Phillips suggests that it's not really voter fraud if non-citizens don't know that they're not supposed to vote.
You can't make this stuff up. pic.twitter.com/LgBXULMMWk— MRC NewsBusters (@newsbusters) July 22, 2026
Host Abby Phillip: “They’re not voting because they’re trying to defraud the system. They might have cast a ballot because they just weren’t aware that they were incorrectly put on the voter rolls.”
Scott Jennings: “They weren’t aware that they weren’t a citizen of the United States?...”
Phillip: “Is this accurately described as fraud, when none of these people tried to register to vote?”
— CNN’s NewsNight with Abby Phillip, July 21.

“I hope you guys had a fabulous weekend. Well, you definitely had a better weekend than the Republican Caucus in the United States Senate because Hell opened its doors for at least one more….You’re [the late Sen. Lindsey Graham] going to be remembered as someone who betrayed your friends, who betrayed your country, and who claimed that you cared about relationships, but in the end, the only relationship you actually cared about was the relationship with Donald Trump. You sold your soul, you betrayed your friends, your legacy, your own soul, you sold your soul to the devil, and now you get to meet him in person.”
— Former MS NOW host Joy Reid on her podcast The Joy Reid Show, July 13.
Sunny Hostin Sickeningly Eulogizes Lindsey Graham: He “Betrayed His Country for Power”
Of course, Sunny Hostin has to be nasty and attack a dead man and claims he "betrayed his country for power."
She does it by hiding behind the comments of Steve Schmidt, a sad and mentally broken man:

Eddie Glaude: Trump and Vance Are “The Devil Who Has Us by the Throat”
MS NOW's Eddie Glaude: Trump and Vance 'The Devil That Has Us By The Throat!' 👹👺 pic.twitter.com/5omHXSfTE3
— Mark Finkelstein (@markfinkelstein) July 5, 2026
“JD Vance wants us to simply shut up, those of us who look like me, right? They want us to shut up and be grateful. That’s what they want us to do. And I think it’s really important for us to understand the way in which they’re mobilizing the founding for their white supremacist ends. And JD Vance tries to put it in kind of flowery language or makes it sound reasonable. But at the end of the day, what he’s arguing, right, is that America’s more than an idea. America is rooted in a culture that is fundamentally about blood and soil. Donald Trump said that in front of Mount Rushmore. He said, what? He said, ‘American identity, American freedom. There’s no American freedom without American culture.’ That’s a quote. And so I think we need to understand these folk for who they are and name the devil that has us by the throat. These are white nationalists, for sure.”

NYT’s Mara Gay Labels Trump Officials “White Supremacists” Over ICE

“I don’t live in Maine. I’m not an immigrant, but I’m a proud American. And this administration has made every single American complicit in these deaths. This is happening with our taxpayer dollars that could be going to schools, to health care….But the other thing here is the hardliners in this administration. They don’t care about the politics because many of them are white supremacists and they don’t care. They’re cruel, and this is what they want.”
— New York Times columnist Mara Gay on MS NOW’s Morning Joe, July 14.
George Stephanopoulos: Constitutional System “Under Stress,” From Trump

“The Declaration of Independence, signed 250 years ago this week, broke America free of rule by a British monarch. The Constitution that followed was designed to ensure that our country would not be governed by a monarch. The President would be constrained by the courts, in Congress, ethical norms, and elections every four years. 250 years later, that system is under stress, tested by a President determined to wield power and buck norms in a way his predecessors did not.”
— Moderator George Stephanopoulos opening ABC’s This Week, July 5.
Chuck Todd: “I Feel Betrayed” by Trump’s Cheapening of America
“For some people, the central text in their lives is religious, and I respect that. For me, the Constitution has always carried that kind of weight. So that’s why I’m so angry and feel betrayed. I do. I feel betrayed as an American by him [Donald Trump] on this. The Constitution is not perfect, but it gives us a way to keep going. It gives us structure for disagreement. It gives us a method for repair. It gives us the possibility of becoming better without pretending we were always good. Maybe it makes some of the same promises that some religious texts do for people. And this is why I’m so pissed off. Not because I love the country less, but because I love the idea of America enough to resent seeing it cheapened by this man. America deserved better at 250.”
— Former NBC’s Meet the Press moderator Chuck Todd on The ChuckToddCast, July 4.
Jennifer Welch Attacks JD Vance’s “Homicidal Hypocrisy,” Won’t “Stand Up” For His Own Kids
VILE: Jennifer Welch and Angie “Pumps” Sullivan of the ‘I’ve Had It’ podcast predict Vice President @JDVance’s “failed completely” as a father and husband because his mixed-race children could end up deported or worse by ICE agents because they might be seen as “look[ing]… pic.twitter.com/VasEmRJ7N3

“I just want you to look at these beautiful children that JD Vance and Usha have, and I want you to remember the Kavanaugh rule. And what the Kavanaugh rule is, is it is a rule that the Supreme Court ruled on that ICE can pull somebody over that quote/unquote ‘looks suspicious.’ An ICE officer could see these little kids and think, ‘Oh, are they from Honduras? Are they from Bolivia? Are they from a shithole country? I think they look suspicious to me.’ So, that is the type of duplicity and homicidal hypocrisy that this administration stands for. These people will not stand up for their own kids.” — Podcaster Jennifer Welch on the I’ve Had It podcast, July 21.
Jennifer Welch Insults Homeschoolers: “MAGA on Steroids,” “America Has a Crazy Christian Problem”

This is un-vaxed and un-jacked and all that shit. This is the worst, worst, worst, and this shit is – America has a crazy Christian problem. We have a fundamental crazy Christian problem.”

Bruce Springsteen: “Yeah, bad timing. You know. I think we’re in a very dangerous moment, you know? Obviously, our democracy is threatened. The Constitution is threatened. We have an administration that, in my humble opinion, is a ship of fools, you know. It’s a very, very, very dangerous time for America.”
