Vice President JD Vance entered the lion's den and returned unscathed, following a six-on-one interview on The View on Tuesday. On the latest episode of The Lars Larson Show, David Bozell, President of the Media Research Center (MRC), discussed what unfolded in this highly anticipated appearance. Bozell thought it went exactly as expected.

“They tried to draw a line in the sand to create some separation between JD Vance and the president on Epstein, on immigration, on gas prices, and on Iran. He got some tough questions, as he should, but he acquitted himself quite well.”
The View, leading up to Vance’s appearance, had created a warped portrait of him, and that entire persona was invalidated the longer the interview went on. Vance gave articulate and calm responses, conducting himself like a gentleman should, as the women repeatedly interrupted him.
The kooks on The View had spent the last year creating a caricature of JD Vance as a psychopathic liar who wanted to assassinate Trump.

But as @DavidBozell predicted, when they had the chance to confront him, they were proven totally wrong.@LarsLarsonShow pic.twitter.com/TZ6KcfOdAJ
Bozell believes that, while “it was a little bit of a yawner,” Vance’s appearance on The View was important and a good way to engage with the other side.
