The protester who yelled death threats at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer – and his family – will be identified, found and arrested, Acting U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche promised Wednesday, responding to viral video of the protester’s threats.
“I will kill your whole f**king family! Your whole f**king family is dead! Your children, your wife: all dead! I have your face mother****er! You’re dead. Dead!” the protester, part of a mob outside Delany Hall in Newark, screams in video posted by reporter Nick Sorter.
Blanche addressed the threat in an interview with Fox News Channel, in which Host Will Cain noted the irony of the protester being caught on camera bragging that “I have your face.”
“We have his face,” Cain said.
“Yeah, so do we,” Blanche replied, promising that the protester will be brought to justice, because threatening law enforcement and their families is criminal behavior:
“We see his face. And I promise you: we will find him. And when we find him, we will arrest him because it is a crime, not only to threaten law enforcement, but not surprisingly, to threaten their family, as well.”
