For much of Thursday, a number of CNN and MSNBC hosts predictably reacted to the quick enaction of new gun restrictions in New Zealand by lamenting the fact that U.S. political leaders are not so willing to restrict the rights of its citizens to own guns, and mostly had guests who bolstered their left-leaning views.

Following Friday's mosque shooting in New Zealand, the liberal media have not hesitated to portray President Trump as a white supremacist or a white nationalist.  Their depiction of the President as a white nationalist continued on New Day Monday, when CNN Chief Legal Analyst Jeffrey Toobin described President Trump’s “personal grievance” as “precisely consistent with the white nationalist agenda…

On New Day, CNN's David Gregory criticizes George Conway, the lawyer and husband of senior Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway, for his anti-Trump tweets. Gregory says the tweeting is not "appropriate," and that Conway should "keep it to himself." That hot take is less surprising when you look at his lawyer spouse.

CNN journalists were shocked this week to find out their own poll revealed 34 percent of Latinos support President Trump. Correspondent Miguel Marquez highlighted the numbers as he spoke to pro-Trump Hispanics in his report which first played on Erin Burnett OutFront Monday evening, then replayed on New Day Tuesday morning.

It should be an obvious concept that during a New Day segment called a “Reality Check,” the reporter should make sure that the information is complete and accurate. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case on Monday morning, when CNN Senior Political Analyst John Avlon went out of his way in an attempt to connect the terrorist shooting in New Zealand last Friday with President Trump.

Near the end of Friday's New Day on CNN, the show devoted three minutes to a piece by Bill Weir in which the CNN correspondent hyped a one-person weekly protest by a teenage global warming activist in New York outside the United Nations headquarters.

From 6:00 a.m. Eastern to 12:00 p.m. Eastern, CNN analysts, commentators, and hosts repeatedly takes such as “[t]here is a one man who pulled the trigger here” inside two Christchurch mosques on Friday afternoon (New Zealand time), but they very quickly pivoted using transition words like “but” to then place blame on President Trump due to the animal’s citation of the President in a screed CNN…

Even if a shooting happens in another country, the anti-Trump media here at home are quick to put the blame entirely on President Trump. After the horrific massacre at two mosques in New Zealand, CNN’s Dana Bash and John Avlon complained that Trump’s rhetoric was responsible for the alleged suspect’s violent act of terrorism, which killed 49 people. On CNN, NYT columnist and CNN contributor Frank Bruni suggests that a legal donation to Harvard made by Jared Kushner's father is not "morally different" from the crimes committed in the college admissions scandal. And so it was that this morning, CNN, with a big assist from New York Times columnist and CNN contributor Frank Bruni, found a way to tie the Trump family to the admissions scandal. 

Offering the latest example on Monday’s New Day of how CNN has upped its game in working to destroy Fox News, Reliable Sources host Brian Stelter reveled in the controversies surrounding two opinion hosts to the point that he wondered why their straight news anchors aren’t quitting in mass protest.

On Friday's New Day on CNN, co-host Alisyn Camerota suggested that DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen last year lied and tried to cover up the change in policy that led to the separation of illegal immigrant parents from their children, but it turns out that the CNN host was citing a tweet by Nielsen that was taken out of context that actually only applied to asylum seekers following the proper legal…

CNN host Alisyn Camerota gave gun control activist Andy Parker free rein to bash Republicans like Steve Scalise as “true believers” in the NRA while promoting his new memoir on Wednesday's New Day. Camerota treated Parker as if he were a friend, gushing praise for his activism and literally cheering on his agenda of turning America blue.

On this morning's New Day, co-host John Berman fretted that President Trump's signing of a check on days he was also fulfilling his presidential duties constituted a "jarring juxtaposition." Alisyn Camerota echoed Berman's concern over the "juxtaposition."
