It took nearly seven years, but at long last it's finally been heard -- praise for Sarah Palin on MSNBC. Even better, one of the people praising Palin -- and there were three, count 'em, three libs on the Lean Leftward cable network today doing so -- suggested that flailing Democrat Hillary Clinton could do worse than to look toward Palin as a political model to emulate.

Veteran journalist Jeff Greenfield joined host Lawrence O’Donnell on Thursday’s edition of MSNBC’s The Last Word for some old-fashioned liberal punditry and expressed hope that the growing support for socialist presidential candidate Bernie Sanders could signal the “healthy” birth of “a socialist wing of the Democratic Party...that Europeans would recognize as a left wing.”

Taking issue with Hillary Clinton’s overdue apology on Tuesday night, Esquire’s Charles Pierce, formerly with the Boston Globe, appeared on the airwaves hours later on MSNBC’s All In to lament that Clinton “didn’t owe me an apology” because “[s]he didn’t do anything to me” with the entire apology being a wash due his belief that “[t]he American people don’t care about” her e-mail scandal at all.

You know it's bad when MSNBC admits liberal media bias. While appearing on the Tuesday installment of MSNBC’s All In, former Chief of Staff to Colin Powell and retired Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson compared former Vice President Dick Cheney to Joseph McCarthy and suggested that he “cannot recognize reality” due to him either being “shocked” on 9/11 or suffering from a “physiological” or “biological” problem.

A few weeks ahead of Pope Francis's visit to the United States, liberal cradle Catholic Chris Matthews -- who once opined that it was somewhat en vogue for "really anti-gay" folks to convert to the faith -- used the upcoming visit as an opportunity to praise the pontiff as a foil for more conservative and traditionalist wings of the Catholic Church, particularly in the United States.
